While the speakers that came with our Grand Cherokee sounded good, I wanted a "fuller" sound without having to get into complicated amplifier issues. These four speakers replacing the stock door speakers were an exact fit and were pretty painless to install thanks to the installation procedures detailed by Crutchfield and after watching a couple of You Tube videos.

These are good speakers! Fit right into the front doors of my megacab just like they said they would. Sound is great as long as you dont have loose tools in the door pockets. (My bad) I wish I had bought 2 sets and did the extra work to put these in the back doors as well!

2022 Ram 2500, Installed in front and rear doors. The front doors leave about 1/4" gap at the bottom of the speaker. I used an oversized screw for the bottom of the speaker and filled the gap with black polyurethane. Also used sound skins speaker foam rings and sound dampening. No amp and factory head unit. This totally wakes us the sound, including bass.
Pros: Clean crisp sound with more bass. Did not have to add subwoofer but, would consider in the future.
Cons: Some songs it seems like bass sounds are lower as tweeters over for vocals. Could be crossover from factory head unit and no sub.

These 6x9 3-way speakers fit the rear B pillar of a third gen Firebird or Camaro perfectly. The mid and tweeter are flush and don't bulge the cover. Factory mounting holes work, but need patience, wiggle & jiggle. Buy the adapter cables and don't cut the factory harness. Makes it easier to install. Sound is so much better than stock Delco.

Very great sound over factory, plug and play with free harness as an option!!! Overall impressed not only with kicker but Crutchfield for making a super easy purchasing experience for a first time customer. I definitely will be coming back!
Pros: Easy to install with a step by step guide included with purchase, and awesome sound with factory radio! No distortion even at high volumes.
Cons: I don't have much to say other then the fact that you would definitely get better performance with a amp powering these, however if you want to just swap these for factory speakers and keep the factory radio by all means do it. You won't regret it at all

I replaced the Factory stereo, with a JVC KW-M560BT media receiver and all the speakers in my 2007 Chevy Impala Lt. I installed Kicker CS series speakers. I put these in the rear deck. They are magnificent! I paired them with matching CS Series 6-3/4" 2-way speakers, in the front doors and CS Series 3/4" dome tweeters for the A pillar. My system sounds awesome! I can play it at full volume with NO distortion. I'm very pleased with my Kicker Speakers! I definitely recommend these speakers and whatever you buy, Crutchfield is the place to buy it. Crutchfield's customer service and support are absolutely second to none! Crutchfield, Thanks for a great experience!

Sounds good. Be advised that these speakers do NOT have threaded mounting holes. If your stock speakers have threads that the mounting screws use to hold them in place, you will need to fabricate something. I just used a thin gauge piece of sheet metal. Cut it to size with some tin snips, drilled a pilot hole, and put it behind the speaker and screwed the stock mounting screw through it. Holds it in place great, although not how I would prefer to have it done. Crutchfield said it fit... it does fit, but they should include some kind of bracket to hold it in place for those who don't have the tools/materials/ability to rig up a solution.

Just installed these in a 2023 Subaru Outback. 5 stars for 3 reasons: 1 - Installation was very easy (with one thing that confused me at first, more in reason 2), 2 - customer service was excellent, they quickly explained the "extra mounting clips" that came with the bracket, which were not needed with the type of install on this vehicle, and 3 - the sound difference from the stock speakers was dramatic, much crisper and eliminated the "muddiness" on all frequency ranges. I just replaced the front door speakers, and it was a big improvement. It was really quite striking how much heavier these speakers were from the stock speakers (which were ridiculously light). Great customer service and a great product.

What a vast improvement! I replaced the factory rear deck speakers in a 2011 Yaris sedan and the 3-way Kickers sound fantastic. One installation comment: Since the hole in the car's frame is punched the exact same size as the factory speaker and the Kickers have a slightly different footprint, you'll want to use shorter 3/8" long screws with washers rather than the screws provided to mount the speaker to the Metra 82-8152 mounting bracket. This mod will allow flush mounting of the installation bracket to the rear deck frame. And don't do this install without the Metra 72-8108 speaker wiring harness. Foolproof electrical connections!

So much more bass than the factory speakers in my 2022 sierra. Replaced the front door speakers w/these, the rear doors w/ 6.75's, and the midrange with kicker mids. This totally changed the listening experience and honestly sounds as good as, if not better than the premium sound package in my wife's suv.

Speakers were installed with factory Nissan Rockford Fosgate system until I have time to replace the head unit and while I was warned that it could make the sound, sound dampened from before I can say that they are already an improvement over what was installed. They provide more bass than I initially expected and I had to adjust based on that as compared to the factory ones. I'm really looking forward to using them with the new head unit and amp this weekend.

Two day shipping, packaging, and the included mounting brackets and quick connect wiring plug was great. The instructions that come with are not so great but thankfully the process isn't too complicated and you can YouTube anything. As far as sound, I was expecting a bit more from these. They did not come with any foam insulation for behind the speaker, or mounting bracket (my stock speaker even had a foam ring behind the bracket). I may be looking to swap these out with a different product depending on further review as I have only had them in a few days so far.

2021 Subaru Legacy
I have a 2021 Subaru Legacy Premium with the stock stereo system. The base speakers are a joke. Look for photos and you will see the front doors have 5 1/2" one way paper cones inside of a 6x9" adapter bracket. These actual 6x9" speakers are so superior to the base speakers it's no contest. I can actually hear the entire audio spectrum now! The only "problem" is that turning my system up reveals how lousy the stock amplifier is. I may need to install a real amplifier at some point...

It's easy to drive, so it's good for the stock radio that comes with my Toyota Corolla. There's good trebles and there's too much of it. Also, too much of mids and no bass at all. I know Crutchfield has a very good return policy, but for the work I've put in I'd rather sell my car than do it all over again. It's long gone the time in which replace a speaker of a car would take just under 30 minutes. I wished the reviews and technical details were a bit more truthful.

2022 Ford F-250 XLT
Very satisfied. Replaced the front factory speakers in my F250 with these. Tremendous difference. The improvement in clarity and definition exceeded my expectations. Before I installed these all the sound seemed to come from the center dash speaker. Now the truck has well balanced, crisp sound. At this price it's a bargain. Still needs a little bass but it's not bad. I will probably add a small sub because I like a little more bass in my music.

These speakers are awesome they sound great! Get the highs the mids and lows all in one. Direct replacement for factory speaker. Along with Crutchfield how to guide on removing door panels made my worries go away. the customer service is amazing for Crutchfield I had a few questions about the full setup I ordered for speakers and a woofer and amp. I ended up letting Gus help me spec out another amplifier to run my factory speakers and get away from the high impedance trash alpine uses.. ended up ordering a set from him! Had a encounter with Zach on my initial order and his customer service was above all.. guy deserves a raise.

I got these to replace the factory front speakers in my 2015 F150. They are a perfect fit and the sound is fantastically clear. Crutchfield included everything I needed and the installation was easy.

Only had these installed about a week. They were ordered to replace a pair of DS series 6x9s that one had failed after a few years. So far these are slightly better. Seems like the mid and tweeter is a little better than the DS series. Music is very clear and clean sounding with good bass and balanced vocals and highs. Very happy with the upgrade I got out of these speakers

I changed out the factory 6"x9" door speakers in my GX460 with these and I can barely tell the difference. I went with a reputable brand that had a slightly lower RMS since I wasn't adding an amp; just running off the factory amp. Low volume (lower 1/3) is a little better, but medium and high volume (upper 2/3) is not noticeable. I will avoid Kicker (factory replacement size) speakers moving forward.

Cons: Barely better than stock speakers, slightly worse at mid and high volume.

I wish I didnt wait so long to install these. I procrastinated because I was not confident in myself taking off the door panels but after watching some youtube videos for a few weeks and getting some differnt I ideas I decided to install them in my 2017 non JBL Tacoma. I started by replacing the tweeters which was good but not great and I wasnt happy. I installed the 6x9 today and there is a world of a difference. If your on the fence all I can say is just do it you wont be dissapointed.

I put these in a 2020 4Runner ORP in the front doors. WOW. I also put Kicker tweeters up on the dash and the round 5ish inch Kickers in the back. Even with the stock head unit and no amp (and stock hatch speakers) this thing rocks. Granted, I put some soundproofing material in the doors, but I just sat in my driveway laughing at how clear, loud, and crisp the sound is. I'm blown away.

Speakers sound terrible. Someone claimed that the speakers had good bass response, but that is either wholly untrue or I was sent blown speakers. I replaced cheap 20-year-old speakers in my car that sounded decent, but I had to get into that space to replace some trim parts and decided to replace the old speakers with new ones. I had the speakers professionally installed and had a different professional installed verify that they were installed correctly. I severely regret my decision. What is worse, I tossed the old speakers before I realized what a mistake I had made. Extremely disappointed.

This particular set of 6x9s were highly recommended by the Tacoma groups so I'd figure I'd give them a try. The quality vs the OEM paper speakers and plastic baskets were no comparison. The sound is where these spekers really excel. For a budget friendly speaker, these 3 ways really bring the stock stereo to life in the non-JBL equipped Tacoma. You'll mainly benefit from the lows and mids as the dashboard tweeters are programmed to handle the highs from Toyota. Give them a few days to break in and the lows really shine through. Would buy these again hands down - best bang for your buck.
