Overview: The Kicker 46HDS962 is a speaker and amplifier upgrade kit designed for 1996-2013 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, Street Glide, Ultra Glide, and trikes, all with Bat Wing fairing. The kit includes a 2 x 50W (2Ω) amplifier and mounting bracket, two 5-1/4" speakers (2Ω) for the front fairing, pre-cut & pre-loomed wiring harnesses, along with mounting hardware. The 46HDS962 upgrade kit is designed to install with no cutting, drilling, or bike modifications.

PXA200.2 Amplifier

Amp Overview: PXA series amplifiers are designed for motorized vehicles with small battery/charging systems; Kicker's new Direct Amp Technology uses the vehicle's charging system as its power supply, offering 90-percent efficiency, and requiring little ventilation.

Power Output: The PXA200.2 is a stereo amplifier designed to output 100 watts RMS x 2 channels at 1Ω (<1% THD+N), 50 watts RMS x 2 channels at 2Ω (< 1% THD+N), and 25 watts RMS x 2 channels at 4Ω.

Controls: The controls for the amplifier include a rotary gain control and four DIP switches. The DIP switches, located on the end of the amp under a rubber cover, can select the following:

• High Pass Crossover: 60Hz, 80Hz, 100 Hz, 120Hz or off, based on the configuration of two DIP switches
• Input Level: select high (speaker level) or low (line level)
• Auto Turn-on: select 12V (amp turns on when +12 volts is applied to the remote wire in the harness) or DC (amp turns on when a 6 volt surge is detected from a speaker level source)

Amp Wiring: The PXA200.2 amplifier gets integrated into the audio system using a single harness plug that provides both power & ground connections, signal input, and speaker outputs.

Differential Audio: The differential audio circuit reduces the likelihood of picking up any engine noise, and helps lower THD (Total Harmonic Distortion).

Weather Resistant: The PXA Amps are weather-resistant, using a conformal-coated circuit board for protection against the elements. They also include no-rust stainless-steel mounting hardware.

Mounting: The 46HDS962 upgrade kit includes an amplifier mounting bracket that holds both the factory radio and the amplifier, with the amp sitting above the radio. 

PS5250 Speakers

Overview: The Kicker PS5250 (PowerSports series) 5-1/4" speakers are designed as a drop-in replacement for the factory speakers and include grilles that fit H-D's Bat-wing fairing.

Compatibility: While designed for Harley-Davidsons, the PS5250 is fully weatherproof and can also be used on other motorcycles, ATVs, boats, and outdoor applications.

Neodymium: Ounce for ounce the woofer's neodymium magnet structure is 10-times more powerful than a standard ceramic magnet, providing high output with extremely low weight. The light weight (approximately 12.6 ounces per speaker) has little effect on the bike's center of gravity.

Tweeter: The 3/4" neo-titanium dome tweeter is bridge-mounted, suspended over the center of the woofer cone and designed to withstand the extreme vibration encountered in the motorcycle/ATV environment.
