Phenomenal Bass, shallow mount

Bought to pair this with my previous 46L7T124 and Kicker Key500.1 in my 22 Bronco 4-door. Custom built sealed box running at 1 ohm. These 2 shallow mount 12s are amazing and only getting 250W each. Awesome speaker for tight spaces or small volume boxes.
Pros: Shallow mount, performance for price
Cons: These are not light even though they are shallow. It's not really a con but could be for your application, or box material. Don't skimp on MDF for these.

I was skeptical about getting a shallow sub. Zero experience with them, and I haven't been into car audio for the past 10 years, so I'm not up with current tech. All my experience from 10+ years ago told me no. This sub absolutely changed my mind! It is insane what 1 shallow 12 does for my 2021 GMC Sierra crew cab truck. My truck didn't come with Bose, so I wanted to upgrade to something that would blow the Bose System out of the water. This sub in a sealed enclosure, paired with an Audio Control DS5.1300 amp (500+ RMS on the sub channel) and Infinity Kappa door /dash speakers makes for an incredible sounding system. Buy this sub, properly tune your amp, and get the bass knob, you won't be disappointed. Thing pounds. Doesn't matter if I'm listening to metal or rap. The kick drums hit fast and tight, the deep bass makes my nose itch.
Pros: Cone area, sound, volume, versatility, looks cool, handles plenty of power
Cons: It's Kicker, so there will be haters.

Its ok but not the beat use of money
Brandon from Memphis TN on 9/29/2020
Its good bass for a thin around 97-99db for 2 10s. I am using a ground shaker ported box in a 2015 crew cab. Honestly, I want more bass. A much better setup can be had for much cheaper if you are willing to give up space.
Pros: durable and can take a beating, thin
Cons: It really doesnt put out at anything less then wide open.(basshead)

Shallow sub but deep sound
Danny from Brandon, FL on 12/5/2019
I purchased this sub about a month ago and had it put in a custom stealth box behind the front seat of a 1998 Chevy Tracker. It is powered by the sub channel of an Audison Voce 5 channel ( 1000 watts). The bass is strong and authoritative. Very accurate and more than I expected. It Took a little time to break in, but once it did, wow! I went sealed to keep the size down, but the spl rivals some ported. Feels like it can take more
Pros: Accuracy Size for limited spaces Construction of sub
Cons: None so far

I installed these into my 2011 Ford F-150 Crew cab. Fits great under the back seat without losing any additional floor space. Being that I just picked these up a couple days ago, I'm still breaking them in. I wasn't expecting this much bass from a shallow sub. Absolutely exceeded my expectations.
Pros: Loud, well built, good to have the wiring options with the 4ohm DVC
Cons: None
