Excellent Sub

We bought this to add much needed bass to our four speaker Kicker stereo system on our pontoon boat. We paired it with a Kicker 51KPX500.1 amp and BOOM, we got all the bass we were looking for! It comes with two mounting brackets for either horizontal or vertical installation. I mounted it horizontally onto a piece of painted 1X6X13 wood, and used Velcro to attach it to the floor. It was a super easy install and we're very happy with sound throughout the boat.

Crisp Clean Bass

I installed two of these in my Jeep Wrangler JKU and each one is being pushed by a Kicker 47KEY500.1 amp. The combination of the amp with these dual speaker subwoofers provides great bass inside the vehicle with crisp tones and none of the distorted vibrations you often hear with systems that are just loud.

Setting the above star rating is unfair. I prefer a ported sound. The bass had a tight muffled sound. I wasn't able to push the 300 watts I expected and capture the sound. Shout out to Crutchfield! I returned it with no problem and with the help of the advisors, we ordered a ported option to achieve my desired sound. Great experience

Installed this in my 1985 Jeep CJ7. This sub is waterproof and has a nice crisp sound to it.
