Great sound at a fair price

Installation was pretty straight forward. They sound great through the factory head unit in my 2003 Jeep Wrangler. I installed a pair in the dash and in the Roll bar.

Kicker RULES!

I rated these speakers five stars because I know Kicker. However, when I opened up the panel of my vehicle to put them in, I discovered that I already had 6.5" Kickers installed! (These were 4") SO, I have returned the speakers for the nominal cost (these days). Good people to deal with, understanding of my problem.

Bought for 2005 Cadillac CTS for exact stock speaker fit replacement. Still had to modify car trim to mount tweeters. Sound good but wish were louder with my amp and radio but my options were limited for stock fit and my desire to have a complete kicker system except radio . They actually do go louder but my gain light on amp showed not to and the crossovers with them lit up which I'm assuming meant I was pushing them so didn't want to blow them prematurely or lose sound quality. They say how much rms there rated for but unless you've had experience which I thought I had enough don't know if that's going to satisfy you for the music you listen to & also have to know what your radio rms puts out and how all these factors along with amp rms will give you what your after.

Great sound for the price point

Sound great! I put them in my Jeep and powered with a jl audio xd700/5v2. The woofer is enclosed in a dash pod and I put the tweeter on the pillar. They are a 5 star for the price. I gave 4 because if you have more cash, then spend the money to get the best your finances allow.
