I wanted a speaker that would improve the sound quality of my stock system. It has a 40 watt amp and was worried it wasn't enough but I was wrong. It's a huge improvement over the stock subwoofer.
Pros: Easy to install and direct fit

Good sub, better lows than expected.
Chad from Colorado on 9/28/2024
Was pleasantly surprised! Replaced sub in my Jeep TJ and this one almost fit, just had to put some putty around the edge to make it seal up. Stuffed the small factory sub enclosure with polyfill. This little sub sounds good and went way lower than I ever expected. It's a 6" so it's not going to shake the vehicle, but was way better than I expected. I have a ported 15" sub in my truck so I know what good bass is :D would def buy again

2023 Bronco Raptor.
Kevin from Muttontown, NY on 7/10/2024

I wanted a sub which would replace the stock B&O sub and work with the stock amp. The reason for replacement was the B&O sub would make a loud clicking sound with any song featuring a deep base tone. I did have to make a spacer so this Kicker would fit into the stock enclosure, not really difficult. With the exception of the middle dash speaker, which Kicker doesn't make, I have replaced all of the B&O speakers with Kickers, I use Kickers in all of my vehicles, major improvement in the sound.
Pros: Great build quality, great sound, right price, works with the stock amp.
Cons: Had to make a spacer to fit the sub into the stock enclosure. Not a big problem, took about 30 minutes from start to finish.

Oem replacement for a bronco
Jason from Lafayette, IN on 4/5/2024
2023 Ford Bronco
Installed in a 2023 4 door bronco with the sub delete. Powered by a ford fusion amp. The sub itself sounds good. Added sound deadening and sealed the oem box. Doesn't provide the deepest bass but, it helps given the rest of the oem audio system. Might sound better with a different amp.
Pros: Sounds good given the size.

I've been "bass-less" since I bought the vehicle so I don't have much to compare it to but it was highly recommended and I think it's awesome. Sounds great in a Jeep ragtop. Does the trick. And it fits the tight space given in the center console of a 2004 Jeep Wrangler. It replaced the original with no modifications.

I love the sound quality of this subwoofer. It fit pretty easily. It was tricky getting the existing wires connected to the speaker. And the mounting rim is thicker than the old one, so the plastic cover doesn't fit back on snuggly. I am still trying to work that part out.

Good upgrade for the cost. It was generally a drop in replacement but had to create my own wiring harness. It does fit the spare tire enclosure but the Audi cover I could not get back on.
Pros: Seems like an moderate upgrade without investing in an amplifier from the OEM subwoofer from Audi. Drop in Cost
Cons: Had to modify the OEM enclosure Create wiring harness

This simple upgrade made my stereo sound even better and took a short amount of time to replace all by myself(didn't think I could). With the detailed instructions and pics to guide me, it was an easier job than I thought. The speaker adds some nice deep base to my sounds and was at a fair price imho. It's a great feeling and sense of accomplishment when you can do it yourself and save some bucks as well. Crutchfield made it easy and the techs are always there for backup help.

Replaced OEM Sub in Jeep TJ
Keith Brian from Tucson, AZ on 2/16/2022
This Sub sounds excellent and is built well. I chose this in my 2004 Jeep Rubicon instead of the OEM. I knew I would need to modify the OEM enclosure to get it to fit depth wise. It took a little time. I also had to nip out a sq inch of the back of the aluminum speaker casing. Kicker construction is very good and I was not worried about this mod affecting affecting performance. I could have gone with the OEM and the replacement would have been simple but for a few $ more this Sub was worth it. Sound is solid. I am very pleased.
Pros: Performance, quality, sound, price

Nice sounding little sub
Crutchfield customer from San Francisco, CA on 11/22/2021
I installed a pair of these in the rear doors of my 2019 Ford Ranger. I fully dynamatted the doors and they are being powered at 150 watts rms each with an Alpine type R 4 channel amp. They sound pretty good but would sound a better in a enclosure I'm sure. I used to have a JL Audio 6.5 inch sub in a ported enclosure that was amazing! I'm thinking I should have ponied up and got 2 of the JL 6.5 subs this time. But the kickers do sound pretty good and actually hit pretty low, I am going to add a 10" sub to the system though because I'm a bass addict.
Pros: Nice low end, slim mounting depth Not too expensive
Cons: JL 6.5 sub way beefier and louder

The bass seems pretty good. I need to run an aftermarket amp to them rather than using the stock amp. It said they fit our buick but now I have to create a spacer to allow the windows to roll all the way down. They interfere. Wife is happy with the sound.
Pros: Compact. Good bass sound from small speakers. Wire connectors. Build quality
Cons: Dont fit properly.

Good Sub-woofer, but took a lot of work to install
Crutchfield customer from San Antonio, TX on 9/28/2021
Even though Crutchfield said this would fit 2002 Land Cruiser, it took a lot of work. Included adapter rings were totally wrong, had to make one, and had to do a lot of grinding, cutting on factory grill, and had to remove the glued on trim ring from the speaker. After that, wiring was a breeze, used original factory wiring. Sound is great.
Pros: Great sound, quality construction
Cons: Although Crutchfield says this will fit the OEM sub woofer box, it took a lot of work to do so.

2015 Honda Fit LX
Running this in a custom enclosure, in the back of a 2015 Fit and powered by a 200w Alpine. It's not bad, pretty good sound quality. At least for its size, which is obviously not as large as any more common sub. It doesn't have the range or volume that a good 8" or 10" unit would have, but those won't fit in a lot of cars unless you want to give up your trunk. If you are space limited and can't run a larger sub, this is a great option to fill in the low end of a system. Just don't expect it to rattle your windows. If you want big sound, and you have the space, get something bigger.
