Kicker 40TCWRT82 in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd

This Kiicker 40TCWRT82 box is PERFECT for what I needed for my truck. I paired it with the Kicker 46CXA400.1T amplifier & together they perform very well. I get all the bass lows & mids that I was missing in my setup at a nice & clean level. They also can get pretty loud when I want to crank up the volume. Enough to rattle my mirrors! I was able to stick the box & amp where a lot of reviews said can't be done as well. They're both mounted in the small storage space behind the rear seats of my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd crew cab truck. Everything is out of sight & you'd never know there was a subwoofer in my truck until you hear the music bumpin'!

Almost Perfect

Bought 2 of these for my 2015 Tacoma Crew Cab. Fit almost perfect with the plastic storage bins removed. Driver side fits and seat fully locks upright but fits a little different than passenger side which fits great. Sending 140 watts to each and sound great for my taste. Would recommend. Also Crutchfield is awesome to deal with. Won't buy from anyplace other than them.

Awesome Compact Sub

This Kicker Sub fit perfect in my latest project. Very solid construction and the performance is Awesome. In this application the sub is visible mounted just behind the drivers seat in my Step Van project. The Embroidered Logo is a fantastic touch.... Hats off to you Kicker... Nicely done.

Powerful punch in a small package

I didn't have a lot of options for an affordable quality sub under the rear seat in my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. A friend of mine purchased this sub and recommended I try it. I'm very impressed with the quality and sound from this subwoofer. It fit perfectly under the seat and the install was a breeze. Would highly recommend if you're looking to get a little extra punch without rattling the door panels off.

Been a Crutchfield customer for 20 years. Bought this from the scratch and dent and cannot believe it was sent out like this. Very dirty, covered in Dog hair. I cleaned it up and tried to make the best of it. Looks to be built well and love the idea of the compact enclosure. Hits some notes well but does bottom out often. May work better in a small pick up truck but not a car trunk.

great bass!

I was really surprised how much bass the 8" speaker puts out. I bought this to replace a 10" rockford fosgate speaker box. It has a little more bass and hits just as hard as the 10" speaker

It's not what I expected, it hits hard but it bottoms out with some distortion, i think the box is to shallow.

So far so good! Not much that this little sub can't handle especially in pickup truck. It fit very nicely under the back seat in my truck and sounds amazing.

Surprising depth of sound for such a small package, does tend to get muddy on lower frequencies though

Impressive Bass

This sub is perfect for my 22 Tacoma. It is loud enough to hit the lows but also not too obnoxious. Pumping 300 rms is just the right amount for what I need. I'm using the Rockford mono amp to power it.
