Great Sounding Speaker

I have a 1993 Silverado Single Cab and in an effort to keep the truck as stock as possible I was looking for a good 4x6 speaker. This size limits your options greatly and these speakers perform great on an old stock radio. They have decent bass (remember its just a 4x6), and fantastic mids and treble.

Great speaker for the price

Installed these in the B pillar of my 2000 GMC Sierra reg cab. Sound great so far running off of aftermarket head unit. Assuming will only get better w/ break in. Must mention that these do not simply drop in as noted per Crutchfield. They required enlarging the existing cutout a bit in order to properly fit the basket, thereby allowing the driver bracketry to sit flush w/ the trucks sheetmetal. Other than that, quite satisfied w/ the purchase.

I bought these after some cheap Sony ones I got from another retailer went out. Figured I'd try something nicer. They're great so far, sound is clear and very easy to install. However, I can't quite hear the audio perfectly as they went into my dash, I have some stock speakers in my cab which sit next to my ear. The stock speakers in the cab are busted so it hurts the audio quality a good bit. But the kickers are great. I'll edit this review, or leave another, once I replace the busted ones.

Rear door speakers with wiring harness replaced my stock speakers great. Drilling was required to mount with screws but that was no problem. They sound great.

Perfect for "C3" 1973 Corvette

I helped a friend install these in a '73 Corvette. The hardest part was removing the dash as these go into the corners just under the windshield. These speakers are shallow enough to fit in the limited space underneath the dash. The only thing I had to do was SLIGHTLY drill the mounting holes on the speakers so that they would line up with the mounting posts in the dash. No big deal at all and no effect to the speakers at all. These sound INCREDIBLE and maintain a 100% factory look as we didn't need the grills. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Although supposedly a direct fit had to pry off old speaker cover to give the new speaker the required spacing to fit the compartment. 2006 GMC Savana. Wire attachments bend easily be careful when pressing on the harness wires.

Great quality sound

I love the sound quality the bass and the price of the Kicker KS series. I installed these in my S-10 daily driver. I have tried many speakers in the truck over the past 20 years and these have impressed me the most . I am using a 55w x 4 head unit, no external amp. I will be buying these for the Jeep also

Fit perfectly in my factory opening on my 93 GMC K3500. I am no audio/speaker fanatic, but these things are miles ahead of the stock speakers. The sound and clearness is similar to the "premium" B&O system in my Audi S3. Paired them with the 4 channel sound ordnance M75-4 75w amp to get the most out of the speakers.

Significant Improvement

05 Jeep, good sound for the $$. Install was fairly easy definitely needed the spacers as the speakers are too deep for the boxes, had to trim one corner to get it fit properly but overall fairly simple.

I replaced all 4 stock speakers in my 94' k2500. Direct fit and they sound great, no complaints. I paired them with a alpine amp. I suggest buying the adapters for your application, they make install a breeze.
