Great sound. Great sub for the price. Put in a 95 Z28 and pushed it with a Rockford Fosgate 500 watt sub amp wired at 2ohms.

Like another reviewer stated, they can't handle the power. I had this in my truck for about 4 months before the coils burnt. I've used kicker for just over 10 years and always had great luck with the lower to mid grade subs.

Pros: Loud while it last

Cons: Doesn't handle high power very well

I've used kicker subs in several builds of mine and have been pleased with their SPL, and overall quality of tone. In this case I'm disappointed. The plastic slider cone gives the sub good strength under fire, but when I push these subs hard the resonance they give off is horrible. I've loved the solo barics in the late 90s and used more entry level kicker comp in my previous build. Both of them sounded like I expected. So this time around I decided to meet in the middle with these mid grade subs. I was thinking I would get a little better bang for the buck and the durability of kicker. However, these subs can't tske the power I'm giving them. I have to tune down the bass to regain sound quality and my sound stage up front over powers their response. So, basically I'm gonna push these bad boys to their breaking point, just to do it. My next subs won't be kicker. And my next subs won't have a defined cone like the kickers do. So.. long review short. If your budget for subs is at this price point, look to another brand.

Pros:

Cons: They do not perform well at max rated wattage. At least in a sealed box, that is.

I bought this speaker because I needed a 10in sub that could handle 600w rms. I was blown away by the low frequency response and pure musicality of this subwoofer. Hands down my favorite sub I ever owned.

Pros: Reasonably priced for a high end sub Low frequency response Clear accurate bass High power handling Dual voice coils Parimeter venting for shallow mounting

Cons: None I can think of other than it's a heavy sub but that's to be expected of a high power handling subwoofer.
