Truly huge bass

The 44L7S104 Solo-Baric L7S™ 10" component subwoofer handles up to 600 watts RMS, enough power to fill any vehicle. Its innovative square cone moves much more air than a conventional 10" round cone, and this sub's made to take anything you can dish out.

Built-in toughness

The woofer's forged aluminum frame and Santoprene™ rubber surround handle high-level playback, while keeping the cone on track. The injection-moulded SoloKon™ polypropylene cone features special back bracing for strength and responsiveness. The sub's two 4-ohm voice coils give you extra flexibility in incorporating this sub into your system. And the UniPlate™ back plate and pole piece are made as a single, solid unit to allow heat to escape the motor. Translation? Kicker designed this sub to take some serious punishment.

Enclosure Compatibility

Features

Dual Voice Coils: For increased system flexibility, the woofer has two 4Ω voice coils. When the voice coils are wired in parallel, the woofer presents a 2Ω load; when wired in series, the woofer presents an 8Ω load.

Square Design: By making the Solo-Baric square, Kicker is giving you the most possible cone area (Sd) for a given size baffle, 16% to 20% more area than a conventional round subwoofer. More cone area means the cone moves more air, resulting in louder, deeper bass.

Cone Material: The square SoloKon design is a unique one-piece construction, using injection molded polypropylene that moves as a lightweight piston, for improved control. A rear cone brace integrates into the cone with a continuous contact perimeter weld, which improves strength and resistance to deformation under pressure.

Surround: The tough, flexible Santoprene rubber surround has a long-throw, positive-roll design, which controls extreme cone excursion and is tear-resistant. The corners of the surround are ribbed to ensure linear cone motion. The surround is stitched to the reinforced cone edge to improve durability.

Speaker Terminals: The terminals are spring loaded and nickel plated for solid connections with speaker wire up to 10 gauge.

Break-in Period: Due to the complex nature of Kicker Solo-Baric L7S woofers, they require a break-in period in order to produce optimum bass response. The high-performance suspension system makes the speakers very stiff out-of-the-box. Approximately two weeks of daily playing will allow the suspension to break-in and reach its optimum equilibrium. A broken-in subwoofer will exhibit stronger bass performance, smoother response, and greater low-bass extension.

Enclosure Compatibility

Recommended Sealed Box Volume:

  • Minimum Volume: 1.0 ft³
  • Maximum Volume: 1.25 ft³

Recommended Vented Box Volume:

  • Minimum: 1.25 ft³; 2.5" x 11.25" port opening; 19.75" port length
  • Maximum: 2.25 ft³; 3" x 11.25" port opening; 18" port length

Cutout: The woofer will not mount in a standard enclosure with a round cutout. Instead, the woofer must be mounted in an enclosure with a 9.324" x 9.324" square opening.

I picked up a Rockford Fosgate 2 channel from Crutchfield a while back and will be running these on it. I highly recommend one to power these subs. P.S. They thump hard!

Hi there, there are a lot of good amps... when I bought my amp to drive my 10" l7 I had several amps on my list: JL, Fosgate, and Audiocontrol. I ended getting the Audiocontrol 800.1 for its size, auto remote on and great price to run my single 10". My recommendation would be the Audiocontrol 1500.1 or the Rockford Fosgate punch with similar power. Factors to consider are the power output at different ohms, size, and efficiency. These 10" kickers really push air...

And my head unit is a Pioneer MVT-310B I think.

Im running a MTX THUNDER 1000.1 Monoblock Amp with a .5 Farad Cap and 4 gauge wire. It pushes 1000 watts RMS @ 1ohm per channel or 600 watts RMS @ 2 ohms per channel. I have my 44L7S104 wired parallel to get 2 ohms pushing 600 watts RMS to each voice coil. I have a 97 f150 extended cab with not much room. I removed the seat directly behind the driver's seat and created a monster!!!!?? I built a custom 4th order Bandpass box for my single 10. Sealed side is 1.1 cubic foot, and the ported side is 2.1 cubic foot with a 3" slotted port. And if I dont have any passengers riding in the back seat, I throw in my other 10" sub( identical sub but previous model 11S10L74) Wired into the same amp but separate channels, and it's in a 1.1 cubic foot slot ported box, also wired to 2 ohms. Now both subs are bumpin 600 RMS. I also dont have any amp or stereo settings above the halfway point. And it KILLS!!!!! I love it. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
