Morel Maximo Ultra 603 MKII

Worked fantastic in a 2023 Mustang door. The Smaller mid driver of the Morel was just the thing as the 3.5"/4" driver's of other 3-way systems were just too big for the door's opening without modification or cutting. The sound is fantastic. Highly recommend this set!!!

High Hopes

I have not played these yet as I am waiting for one more major component. Packaging is very good. I inspected all the components and build quality of the speakers is very good. The crossovers had two minor issues, one was missing a tweeter jumper, luckily I had one in my spare computer parts. The other had a 1.5" long piece of solder rattling around in it. Got it out and hopefully won't have any more issues. I have "high hopes " for the sound quality of these and will try to provide an update once the system is running.

So these sound great. Great sound quality. But for the money you can put together an amazing set from Hertz and Dayton audio with appropriate crossovers. Mp 25.3 tweet-Dayton 3in mids- Dayton Dcs165. That will blow this set away if u have the power to throw at it. I kept the 603 set but moved the 603 woofer to the back doors. Then I put the Mp 25.3 on the rear pillars with the Dcs165-4s in the front doors. As a 2way with crossovers ran in series @2ohm. If I had known this upfront I'd definitely go without the 603 set. I also would have saved some money. It's not hand made like the more expensive morel sets.
