I put these in the front doors of an 09 Scion Xb. Running them with a set of JBL components, wired them off the crossover in place of the 6 1/2 woofer which is now running as a dedicated midbass. These Morels sound amazing! By coincidence I guess, the jbl crossover is at the x over point recommended in the Morel guide. Running about 75 per channel to them and 75 each on the midbass. The Morels blend in perfectly and I am beyond impressed. Trying to get good mids from a 6 1/2 mounted down low in a door just never did it for me. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

Speakers sooo shallow
James from Lomita, CA on 1/14/2022
Oh my god I hope these sound good. I am custun installing in the headrest of my 2016 MX-5. They are sooo shallow, the only thing that would fit were these. I'll update once complete and I can reliably review
Pros: Very thin
Cons: Very thin

Great sounding mids!
Daniel from Festus, MO on 1/7/2022
I wasn't really sure about these when I bought them, but I wanted to try a 3-way active set up so I gave them a shot. They replaced some older 4" Morel Coax's. I also added Morel Tempo Ultra tweeters in the sail panel at the same time. The combination sounds great. I have the Nano's in my dash stuffed in an XTC baffle for an enclosure and they sound great. I compared them to the CDM 600's that come in the Morel Virtus 603 set and these sounded way more natural. The CDM 600 sounded almost hollow. I'm experimenting with these on my dash facing the opposite headrest now and they sound even better there so they may end up there in a pod if I get the time. The size makes them very versatile! Love them.
Pros: Great sound in a small package Natural & warm sounding
Cons: Not as easy as just throwing in a coax, but worth the effort!

Another excellent Morel product!
Crutchfield customer from Topeka, KS on 11/4/2021
Like most Morel products, these have smooth warm sound, and they are amazingly small. They are, again like most Morels, not very efficient, so you will want to put some power in them. I run an all active system and these mids give me a lot of flexibility for crossover frequencies and slopes.
Pros: Excellent sound and small size
Cons: hard to rear mount, and inefficient.
