On the trail or on the street, it always helps to have a brighter picture when you back up your Wrangler. Their 9002-8858V2 rear-view camera integrates nicely into the rugged design of your Jeep Wrangler and displays everything it sees on your aftermarket touchscreen receiver or your touchscreen factory radio (using the included wiring harness). And you can even defeat parking lines at installation in case you prefer the ones provided by your receiver.
A fit for almost any tire
Brandmotion includes an adjustable bracket and camera head extension piece so you can mount the camera between the spokes of a wide variety of rear-mounted spare tires, including aftermarket tires.
Installation Note: Dealer activation is required if you're using this backup camera with your Jeep factory radio. Some wire-splicing may be required. If this is your first install of this kind, you may want to consider a professional installation.

Jeep Wrangler Camera Kit: The BrandMotion Jeep Wrangler Camera Kit 9002-8858V2 lets you to add a rearview camera to 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK vehicles that have an aftermarket display monitor with a composite video input, or a factory video display headunit (OBDII flashing required). The camera kit includes a rearview camera, spare tire mounting bracket, wiring, cables, harnesses, and hardware.
Note: This rear-view camera kit is meant as a back-up aid only; never solely rely on the rear-view camera when backing-up. In addition to using the rear-view camera, always look behind you to make sure everything is clear when backing up your vehicle.
Vehicle Compatibility: The BrandMotion Jeep Wrangler Camera Kit 9002-8858V2 is designed specifically for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JKs that feature an aftermarket head unit with video monitor and composite video rear-view camera input, or a factory radio with built-in video monitor.
Note: Adding this camera kit to a factory radio will require OBDII flashing for activation, either using a BrandMotion 9002-6115V2 Flash Programmer (sold separately), or by your authorized Jeep dealer.
IR Backup Camera: The BrandMotion Jeep Wrangler Camera Kit features a CMOS Infrared Light Camera with a CMD-III image sensor that can provide you with a bright, clear view, even while backing up in low-light conditions. The camera provides a wide 170˚ horizontal and 120˚ vertical viewing angle, and carries an IP67 weatherproof rating.
Park Assist Lines: The backup camera provides parking assist lines on the screen of your vehicle's factory radio display or aftermarket head unit display. These parking lines are there to assist you when backing up into a parking space. There are two vertical lines which help you judge the left and right edges of the parking space and your vehicle. There are also 4 color-coded horizontal lines that are used to distinguish how close you are getting to the end of the parking spot - Green (Clear), Orange (Getting Close), Yellow (Very Close), and Red (Stop).
Note: You can turn off the Park Assist Lines by connecting the 2 bare-ended green wires on the camera's attached cable.
Mirror or Reverse Image: The backup camera will display a "Mirror" or "Reverse" image on your aftermarket in-dash monitor. By default, the camera will display a mirror image. In order to display a reverse image, you will need to connect the 2 bare-ended white wires on the camera's attached cable.
Spare Tire Mounting Bracket: The BrandMotion Jeep Wrangler Camera Kit comes with a spare tire mounting bracket to mount the rearview camera inside the factory spare tire on back of your Jeep Wrangler. The camera's bracket can be adjusted for optimal positioning with up to 6" of horizontal and 4" of vertical adjustment. The camera kit includes a short camera bracket (pre-installed) that's designed for factory offset wheels and a long camera bracket that is available for larger aftermarket wheels.
Power & Ground: The power (red) & ground (black) wires will need to be hardwired. Power can be obtained from your vehicle's reverse light circuit or from the reverse gear wire of your aftermarket stereo (if applicable). The ground will need to be connected to your vehicle's metal chassis.
