Nice camera but doesn't fit well

2007 Dodge Sprinter Passenger
It did fit our 2007 lowtop sprinter passenger van - with caveats. Its molding was off on the screw holes alignment. It didn't fit against the bottom correctly, left about 2mm of gap. Top seems to seal well enough with the O-ring, but we opted to use rope caulk around it to water seal it. Camera however looks great!
Pros: Image quality. Nice to have it up so high to really see around you. I liked the 4 pin connector, was easy to install. Brake light board snapped onto it without issue.
Cons: Gap at the bottom. Holes didn't line up well. Needed to have rope caulk added for waterproofing and clean installation.

WORKS FINE WITH MY 2012 SPRINTER 2500.
Pros: GOOD PRICE THE 3RD LIGHT CIRCUIT BOARD SNAPPED RIGHT INTO THE REPLACEMENT
Cons: ORIGINAL HAD A GASKET SEAL. THIS REPLACEMENT HAS AN O RING SEAL. NOT SURE IF THAT IS GOING TO PROVIDE BEST SEAL FOR WEATHER

Great idea...but...
Crutchfield customer from Glencoe, MN on 8/21/2022
This is a nice camera/brake light combination. The only issue I ran into was the housing left no room for the camera cabling to exit. My Dremmel tool to the rescue. I cut a slot for the cable and all is well after snapping the light board from the original light assembly into this new one. Everything fit well and works great@
Pros: Works and looks great! Easy to set up.
Cons: No pre-cut escape for the camera cabling.

Incomplete design.
Crutchfield customer from Lusby, MD on 4/2/2021
This product is not sufficiently engineered to replace the stock 3rd brake light without modification. 1.While the OEM 3rd brake light is curved 3/16" to meet the curve of the body, this light tries to be straight and ends up being wavy due to poor molding controls. Fasteners place the light assembly under continual stress to conform to the truck body shape. 2.This light includes a large o-ring to seal the light against the body; but, with only two screws, an adequate seal is not possible. The o-ring was replaced by double-sided foam sealing tape, as in OEM. 3.The attachment holes in this light were 3/16 to 1/4" below the holes in the body. New holes were made to fasten the light using existing screw holes in the body. 4.The internal parts of the OEM light had to removed and a pocket milled within to allow room for the new camera wire to allow this light to be used.
Pros: Camera image is good. Has a great look.
Cons: Incomplete design. Requires modification with proper sealing tape to prevent water intrusion and relocating holes for mounting. Image shows misaligned mounting holes. Since the body is curved and the light is not, I suspect that this light will ultimately break at the junction between the camera and light; the plastic of the light is under continual stress. Don't throw your OEM 3rd brake light away!

Not a direct fit to 2011 cargo standard roof. Light transfers, and plugs in and functions fine but modifications are necessary to install in the body of the van.

We had to trim the plastic a bit to get the brake light back in the new model but so far the camera works beautifully!
