Kit works great and I like that there is adjustable volume for the door/warning chime. I've installed several car radios over the last 35 years and these kits are a must for integration with vehicles from the last 15-20 years. The instructions were okay, but lacked some clarity in describing functions of some of the wires...specifically the steering wheel control harness (I could ignore this as my truck doesn't have steering wheel controls).

This interface worked perfect, pretty straight forward on the connections. Everything on my truck worked fine. From the chime, back up camera and steering wheel controls. I recommend soldering all your loose wired connections!

Work perfectly and with crutchtfields writing service it was more or less plug and play. Being older and not seeing as well it was wonderful. But i would have loved it when u was able to see better in the time it saved.

Pros: Great instructions and great fit. Looks like it was in from the factory

Cons: Some of the wires that could not be powered was a little confusing but they're tech line was a great help

Most the wiring worked out with this adapter except the backup camera. The pins the RCA connect to on the Chevy connector were not even populated. The only way I could get the backup camera to work was to take the camera harness and wire it directly to the back of the new head unit. This is a lot of work. Something is wrong on the documentation for the backup camera.

Pros: Ease of installation and most wiring easy to follow.

Cons: Backup camera not connected correctly.

Ready harness was great. Did not work properly with my vehicle. The module did work, but there was no way to keep it from controlling the heads up in my gauge cluster and receiver simultaneously. Crutchfield's Tech Support was extremely helpful. But we ultimately came to conclusion it wouldn't work the way it'd be needed. Even got in touch with Crux and they came to the same conclusion. Returned module no issue though. Crutchfield is always great about that.

Pros: Easy install. Crutchfield was a big help.

Cons: Did not work with 2018 GMC SIERRA 2500 HD. At least not the way you'd want.

This is very helpful in upgrading my old system. The only problem I had was a question in whether I needed to use the rear camera power wire. I hooked everything up without using that wire and only using the power from the reverse light. It works fine that way. I find connecting back up cameras to be perplexing as there are no real precise instructions to so.

I purchased this harness because it was supposed to retain steering wheel controls and factory backup camera on my 2014 Chevy Silverado. I'm pretty sure I have the dip switches correct, in fact I have tried every combination. At this point I got neither working. When in reverse my head units screen goes black and the parking guide pops up but no picture from the camera. This is the first daily driver that I have had with SWC and I kinda got use to using them. I am sure I am missing something. Will call tech support on Monday. Sort of let down but I am hoping I can get this harness working properly soon. Head unit is a Pioneer 4200 NEX It did make installation a breeze.

bought this for my 2016 Silverado 1500 WT single cab to install my alpine ilx-207. my truck is a stripped model no power windows or steering wheel controls only cruise & pwr locks & the only part i wanted to display was my outside temperature & of course it does not! on the plus side, wiring & installation was very simple & works as intended. first time purchase with crutchfield & delivered fast & as stated.

Fit my 2016 Silverado just perfect. I had trouble finding a proper factory backup camera retention. This interface was easy plug and play without any issues. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's pictured and listed to have come with an antenna adapter, but it isn't included.
