Camera works great and externally looks good on my 2015 Tacoma Access cab. Since this could not use the OEM bracket, I had to be creative with the mounting.

Better options out there for Tacomas.

I purchased this camera because it was on sale. I would do it again. It does mount useing the same bracket system as the factory camera would. You must drill a 5/8th inch hole to mount it. I made it work and look decent, but had to do some trimming and fabricating. For a few bucks more there are cameras that mount like stock. You just have to unscrew the blank on the tailgate handle and replace with the new camera. For just a little more you can get a camera and locking tailgate handle combo. Both better options. 2015 Tacomas are prewired for a cam, but contrary to the instructions not every 2014 is. If you decide to use this cam first determine if you truck is prewired.

Pros: Very good picture. Plugs into factory wiring at the tailgate handle instead of at the frame like others.

Cons: Does not mount like factory cam. Will not look good on you tailgate handle without some trimming and fabricating.
