I need a factory harness to aftermarket stereo adapter so I logged in to the live chat told them what i had they gave me the part # I needed to order. Shipping was quick and the installation was seamless. Great service all around. I could not have asked a better experience. I will definitely be a returning customer.
Pros: customer service product knowledge

Painless install, Crystal clear instructions
Gene from Odenton, MD on 6/4/2025
2015 Dodge Dart
This harness was EXTREMELY easy to follow and I felt adequately prepared for when all of my equipment arrived for a streamlined install. All of the cables are labelled and you receive a superb instructional. This made what is usually the most annoying steps actually fun. I had wired everything up with the head unit and once all the parts came in, the harness made it seem stock and everything worked without any tinkering at all (steering controls and all). My only gripe, if I had to pick one, is that the park wire is labeled "Speed sense". Wasn't hard to put 2 and 2 together, though.
Pros: Support of Crutchfield to help Detailed instructions Clearly labeled cables

Crux SWRCR-59D Wiring Interface

First off I want to say that the customer service & tech. support is top notch. That being said, before I purchased, I specifically asked if I would have to hard wire the Brake wire and was told it would be in the wire harness and I wouldn't have to do any other wiring. When I was attempgin to install the system, I was told by a very helpful tech I would have to hard wire from the harness to the brake. Someone dropped the ball. Access to the brake swith to wicgh this wire must be connected is almost impossible. I am about ready to return the whole package.

The Crux interface/harness was perfect for my JVC head unit. It allowed me to keep my steering wheel controls, my backup camera, and the stock USB connection. I'm glad I ordered it!

Works Fine.
Logan from Greenback, TN on 2/18/2021
2016 Jeep Renegade
Worked well. The instructions are kinda vague, but if you take your time you'll be fine. I did have to call tech support once but that was my fault. Once installed steering wheel controls are just like factory. Before you install this the first thing you have to do is disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. Once you do that everything else is easy.

Bad
Crutchfield customer from Bloomington, IL on 12/25/2019
2016 Jeep Renegade
Horrible, I was told by Crux it would work perfectly on my 2016 Jeep renegade. Well it does not, it caused havoc on my electric system and Crux would never reply to me or the stereo shop. Stay away from this and them
Pros: None
Cons: The unit is not canbus safe
