A+ Quality!

Purchased several of these for my KEF LS60s and KC62 subs. Amazing quality and the packaging they came in was very impressive. Bonus is the soft blue glow they emit from the status lights. Definitely A+ along with Crutchfield quick ship and support.

very impressed. the power conditioning works well for my modest setup. while the unit is advertised at 15amp max, its designed per the manual for 12amp load max before going into protection for overcurrent. Ionly mention this to those thinking they can pump a receiver and 2 class subs through one of these. It supports my cinema50 marantz, panasonic udp, and turntable with plenty of room to breathe. and yes the unit has slots on the back to wall mount.

Smooth no interruptions

Optimistic User

I bought 2 of these. I hooked up one behind my Flat screen to power all my components. The other I hooked up next to where my wife sits with her laptop. The jury is still out, but I feel confident these units will do the job that they were built to do.

Quality in a fancy box

As always with Crutchfield, this arrived in a timely manner with free shipping. As someone who's power management usually consists of $30 power strips this was a big step up for me. The unit is impressively built and plugging my equipment into it takes some unexpected effort, the plugs are held very securely. I cannot say how good it is if there is a power surge but my confidence level is very high. Hard to say just how much if any it has improved my sound (via Bluesound power node and Goldenear BRX speakers) as it is too much effort to go back and forth on a blind sound comparison but there does seem to be some soundstage improvement and dialogue from the TV seems a bit more focused with improved clarity.

Great Piece of Kit

This is a super robust power strip / filter. All aluminum case is very nice. Does a great job filtering electrical line interference and isolating your system.

I have purchased two of these, Austere V Series power strip protector from 3000 Joules, with EMI/RFI along with MOV protection. I have replaced them from what I Had, Monster home theater HTS MK1000III power center strip. I have noticed a difference in my Samsung 4K 65" TV Pitcher quality also my Samsung 4K DVD player also notice sound improvement from my Yamaha RX V795a receiver and surprisingly from my Pro-Ject X2 turntable had improved the sound slightly better as well. headphones sounded cleaner and the from my Polk's S60, S30, S20 sounded cleaner and the bass from my SVS PB 1000 sub the low in sounded even more detailed! I really did not expect such an improvement! great investment for around $300. the only improvement would be an AVR to control the power coming from the outlet.

this a piece of equipment that you need if your system is of any value. One issue, the packaging is so awesome you will have to decide if you wanted to open the box.

Austere Power unit

Very nice, solidly built unit. It comes very well presented in its packaging and appears to be high quality. Because of the nature of this type of equipment, I wouldn't know how durable it is until it protects my stuff during a lightning storm or a blackout. However this unit seems well engineered and should be fine for the next few years. The usb outlets on the front are also usefully as they free up the regular outlets to be used by your other equipment.
