It works, and looks great. Some minor irritations

The cable works, and I do like that it is more flexible than most which gives me a feeling that it should be pretty resilient. It comes packaged as though it were the Crown Jewels or a commemorative pistol. I was a little worried I was going to break it trying to get it out of the packaging. A couple of things to note, there is a very tiny little form-fitting dust cap pushed into the tip on both ends, which could be easily overlooked since it is clear in color. Not easy to get off for larger or older fingers. That and it does not really fit in the port with a satisfying click, so you have the feeling that it is just sort of hanging there. But it does the job and no complaints about the quality of the signal!

This cable is compatible with older amplifiers. It is a tight connection. Not all optical cables gives a tight connection on older equipment.
