Efficient design

The DS 30.3's mica-injected polypropylene cone features deep ribbing for additional stiffness. When combined with the butyl rubber surround, this advanced design moves more air to give you bigger bass with less distortion. The sub's high-efficiency design also maximizes output so you get all the bass you can handle.

Made for small spaces

With 250 watts of continuous power handling (1000 watts peak), the DS 30.3 gives you the low end you need to make your music come to life. This sub is designed for use in sealed or ported enclosures that'll fit into small spaces.

Product Research

Features

Sealed Box: Hertz recommends a sealed enclosure volume of 21 liters (0.74 ft³). Sealed enclosures provide the most control over a woofer, will handle a lot of power, and provide accurate sonic reproduction, making them suitable for all types of music.

Ported Box: Hertz recommends a ported enclosure volume of 23.9 liters (0.85 ft³) with one 82mm (3.2") diameter x 175mm (6.9") long port, resulting in a tuning frequency of 40 Hz. Ported (or vented) enclosures typically provide better overall efficiency than sealed, maximizing bass output for a given amplifier.
