2008 Chevrolet Silverado
Subs didn't last long they blew in like 6 months the come with a 2 year warranty,these were installed by professionals at Hi Pro Audio, Crutchfield is unable to help contacted the manufacturer they send me to another number and nobody answers ,sent in a email still no help ,so far the biggest waste in money I've experienced
Pros: Beautiful subs sounded good
Cons: They don't last and there expensive, I had JL 3v3 for 8 years never had a problem

blown voice coil 1 month out of warranty

Dead at 2 years 1 month, blown voice coil. Waiting for response from Hertz to see if they will honor their two year warranty on the speaker. Professionally installed and tuned, matched with a Hertz mille power 1, not abused in any way and it still did not last . Set the DVC in series, figuring the extra resistance will provide longevity since it will be running at 50%of its peak power (1200 watts). The speaker is rated for 600 watts continuous power and clearly was unable to handle it. Very nice speaker otherwise had absolutely no complaints until one day it no longer functioned. It would be tough to recommend this speaker to a friend since this is not by any means a cheap speaker. If this speaker was to be considered, my recommendation would be spend half as much on a cheaper speaker, and get two, that way you can have a system that lasts twice as long for the same price.

Cons: longevity, dead at 2 years
