Excellent Mount

This mount is very strong and is easy to mount. We have a 65 inch tv and it holds it up with no troubles or shaking. It is a little difficult to hook up everything once your tv is mounted due to the shallow depth of the mount. So I'd recommend hooking up all of your wires before hanging it.

Quality, Value and a Sensible Solution

Good mount with inly a few issues. The leveling adjustment screws can be very difficult to access with larger TV's. My only other issue really is that the magnetic ends on the release cables are difficult to store because of the ultra tight spacing of the TV to the wall once installed being only like 1-1/2" or so. My solution for this is to release the TV bottom and tilt slightly out from the wall and then attach the cables. With the TV totally attached to the mount top and bottom there simply isn't room to slide ones hand up behind to attach the cable. No big issue when tilting the bottom of the TV out slightly from the wall. All in all a good mount at very good pricing. As usual, Crutchfield delivers quality, value and yet another sensible solution to that of the higher priced name brand products.

Simple, clean and strong

I've installed a few tilting, pivoting wall mounts, and, when you need those features, they're great. But in my current application, a simple, strong and low profile mount was called for, and this Kanto mount nailed it. It about as low-profile as you can get, so you will want to do all your connections BEFORE you hang the TV. But if you forget, and need to get back there, just pull the release cords and lift the TV off. You would think there is no adjustment to this thing, but that would be wrong. The TV will slide left or right a few inches to help you get centered, and there is a pair of jack screws accessible with a long screw driver from above the TV to help you get level. All in all, a simple but solid product that perfectly meets my needs, with a couple of nice adjustment features to help you get a refined, professional looking installation.

Installation of TV wall bracket

Looks as the right choice for our Samsung TV. Installation by Crutchfield employee went smoothly as he adjusted and centered the complete unit (TV with bracket) on the chosen wall. Highly recommend this equipment and istallation process,

This TV mount worked well with my new Sony 85" Bravia. It is sturdy and well made, and easy to install. Also love how slim it is to the wall. Just know that an 85" TV is pushing the limits of this mount so check weight limits. The size of our TV had us using the furthest mounting holes so there was no adjustment left for up and down (other than the small leveling adjustment screws) so triple check your mounting location compared to where the mounts fall on your TV before you drill in the wall. I also love the magnetic strings to unlock the unit as we needed to remove, re-drill holes, and lower the mounts after initial install (and there is no room to get your hands behind the unit once installed). You will need to connect your cables prior to locking in TV so get a helper. Also, with a large TV the provided screwdriver is too short to reach the leveling adjustment screws so I needed to patch/connect together several drill driver extensions to reach.

The quality of this mount is quite good. Set up was easy until actually putting the TV on the wall mount. That took a little fiddling but was not terrible. I think part of the problem was the mounting holes on the Sony TV were pretty low and restricted how much you could tilt it back. Another part is because the mount is a pretty low profile to start with. My only minor complaint is that the magnetic release pull cords are a little hard to get tucked up and hidden.

Highly recommended

This mount is well made, sturdy and includes plenty of screws, spacers and wall mounts to facilitate just about any wall mounting situation. I used the spacers to bring the body of my 55" TV about an inch off the wall to make it easier to connect the HDMI and antenna cables. Great quality at a low price.

Top choice

I thought they knocked it out of the park with this tv mount. Well packaged. Enough screws, spacers, etc, for any TV and presented well (not just thrown in a bag with an Allen wrench). Plus the ability to do minor adjustments if your measurements weren't exactly level. No complaints.

Sturdy

Sturdy,(4) screws behind the TV, (4) screws in wall. This mount was so easy to install, I am 250lbs and this mount supported my Weight no problem.

It works fine and is not expensive. Only issue is it is not very wide. So when hanging a large (82") TV, there is barely any room to slide the TV when the top part of the vertical (attached to the TV) strut bars is over the horizontal rail (attached to the wall). The mount I removed (which was for a smaller TV) was much wider, so it would have been easier to hang a TV if the horizontal rail was longer/wider. So it works for huge TVs and is inexpensive but is a little harder to hang given how small the rail is. Also, given how small it is, it is more critical to get it centered to where you want to hang the TV, which may not be where studs are centered. How centered the horizontal rail is not that important if it is wider. If I were doing it again, I would have probably gone with a more expensive wider one to me more flexible.
