I have this amp that actually specs @182 watts per channel, the Status mono block amp, ILX405 has unit and status component speakers in the from doors and coaxial in the rear a 12" M7 sub with an XS battery to stop the voltage spikes . This is the cleanest sounding system I've owned with tons of headroom!!!!!

Pros: Best system I've ever had.

Cons: A littl pricey but worth it.

I am definitely serious about the sound of my music. The type of person that runs through multiple pairs of headphones, speakers, amps, etc. when trying to find the right fit so somewhat of an audiophile but not hardcore enough to drop thousands. With this being my first true aftermarket system setup (most of the cars I've owned had decent enough systems except for this Honda Accord Hybrid Sport) I wanted to make sure it sounded superb. This amp ticks the boxes so well I didn't even want to get out of my car to go into the office this morning!! Little details pop out that I have never heard in songs I'm very intimate with (guitar strum runoffs, subtle drum hits, piano runoffs). And that's with a rough tune so I can imagine what it will be like once I dial it in with an oscilloscope!! Everything is so warm and fuzzy from rock, to jazz, to rap! For the breakdown, I have Infinity Kappa 603F components in the front and Kicker 47KSS6704 components in the back (Infinity's supposedly wouldn't fit...plus using those for a bit deeper sound). LC7i (as the Honda head unit needs the extra oomph, be sure to connect to the front speakers for your sub amp!), and an Alpine S-A60M driving a JL Audio CP112-W0v3 enclosure (wanted the 4ohms for SQ and accuracy). Believe me, you won't be disappointed with this one! Can't wait to get a DSP to really dial it in down the road.

Pros: Sound is amazing, crisp, and full! Easy setup and tuning. Slick design.

Cons: The quick connectors are a good choice for being able to maintenance the amp, but I did have one of the screws loose out of the box and it was a pain to get back in. If you accidentally push it out, stick a piece of foil in the hole to keep it from falling all the way in, then use tweezers to put it in place, grab it with the Allen wrench and move the tweezers to the bottom of the screw to push it back in place and screw it into the hole. Then remove the foil with the tweezers of course.
