A beautiful amp with great sound

Great sound! Breathed new life into my sub Each of these are inspected and tested individually after manufacturing, and include a certification card that has its actual tested max power written on it. It's rated at a max power of 1500W when driving a 1 ohm load, but the certification card that came with mine says when it was tested the maximum power output was actually 1828W! I am happy. The amp itself is beautiful as well. I also like that the lowpass has a 24dB/oct rolloff. That's how I like it. If you prefer 12dB/oct rolloff, Alpine's R series amplifiers are not for you. I for one love it though.
Pros: 24dB/oct lpf rolloff Great sound Beautiful look
Cons: It's kinda heavy It looks beautiful with the cover plate installed. But if you want to be able to make adjustments to the gain/lpf/bassboost, etc, easily on the fly, like I do, you'll have to leave the cover plate off, and the amp doesn't look nearly as nice that way.

Thunderous Deep bass.
Alex from Sacramento Ca on 1/30/2024
I bought this amp in October and finally got to install it 2 weeks ago. I'm impressed with the built and sound quality, it's heavier than other amps of the same size. I had a CT sounds 1500.1, the newer black version, in my 10th gen Honda civic pushing 3 Skar audio SVR 8s in a custom box tuned to 35 hz. With the CT sounds It got loud and made the subs "HIT"don't get me wrong it's a good amp for the money. The subs do not sound any louder(maybe because it has less distortion/cleaner amp) but they do sound warm, deep, and have that thunderous lows I was craving, the type of bass that surrounds you not that BAM BAM BAM burp burp bass. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and the service Crutchfield provides. My older brother used to use Crutchfield back in the 90s and I have continue to use it and always recommend them due to their customer service and quality products.
Pros: Well built, made my cheap Skar audio subs sound like more expensive subs. All the connections are in one side. The screws for speaker power/ground remote are one size.
Cons: The speaker and power/ground connections are at an angle which can be a problem if you have limited height space and need to use spacers.

Pros: Great amp for the money
