incredible subwoofer for a reasonable price

I installed mine in a 0.35 ft3 gross sealed enclosure that I built to fit my Ford Maverick under the rear seat bench, and I am feeding it more than enough power with a Kicker key 500.1. (For many installations you will want the dual 4ohm version instead.) The output is honestly shocking for an 8" in a sealed box, very musical and controlled. I would have loved to try the 10" version but can't fit it without cutting metal. So I viewed this 8" as a compromise, but it has far exceeded my expectations. My demo song is Rosa Parks by Outkast, it's a great match for this woofer. My last system was a single JL 12w3 in a sealed enclosure in a different vehicle and this certainly cannot play that loud or low, but I'm extremely happy with the Alpine R2 in such a tiny space.
Pros: Small volume Sound quality
Cons:

running 2 of these in a ported box and off a rockford prime 1200 amp. paired with alpine type x speakers in the doors i finally have my perfect setup after cycling through different subs. went down from 2 ported 12's and was ready to sacrifice some low end in order to get some nice kick drum sounds. to my surprise these lil dudes can drop to anything i swear, such low sounds that i wasn't expecting. i listen to rap, metal, rock, country, and my mexican playlist. these subs are there for all of it they can pick up everything. only thing i lost from going down in size is air movement which i dont care much for since i prefer sq rather than spl. dont get me wrong if i want to show off and crank on my bass knob they get plenty loud. overall just very happy with these subs.
Pros: can pick up anything
Cons:

Accurate & loud. Fabricated two .6 cu foot ported boxes tuned to 36 hz. Put one driver in each and mounted them under the seats. They outperform a couple different single 10's I have tried.
Pros: Accurate. Loud. More excursion than I thought. Usual Alpine quality and true to the advertised ratings.
Cons: Wiring terminals place wiring in the way of dropping driver into box. Had to make flexible coil jumpers as the rigid alpine ones were impossible to use. No mounting screws included. Overall petty cons, but figured they were worth mentioning.
