Huge sound in an exceptionally shallow package

My issue, is that I have a 2024, and a 2015 Volkswagen Golf R. Great overall system, with disappointing lack of punch. I really needed a solution that ideally wouldn't take up trunk space, by fitting in the spare tire location UNDER the trunk deck. This is a tight squeeze indeed. In years past, when I had the extra time to spend fabricating a custom enclosure, I'd just knuckle down and build my own. Those days are basically behind me, so the search began. I have tried many powered subs which have indeed fit, but either lacked punch, or in some cases had the punch, but their grilles (or enclosure) would rattle. I've spent thousands over the years on failed experiments. I'm your lab rat. I did the testing. I Installed the sub yesterday coupled to a MB Quart RA1-300.1 amplifier. The combination works beautifully, and the frequency response and punch of the Alpine provide exactly the solution I have been searching for. In my 2015 Golf, I have been running a twin sub amplified JL enclosure for years, but had to remove my trunk deck so as not to take up a bunch of limited trunk space. This Alpine sub fit and sounded so amazing in my 2024 Golf, I immediately ordered the same sub and amp combo for my 2015. I pulled my JL enclosure out last night, reinstalled my trunk deck, and am eagerly awaiting their arrival. I can not possibly stress enough how impressed I am on the performance of this Alpine unit. If YOU also have limited space, this thing really delivers. Amazi
Pros: Super shallow depth for a 10 inch driver, and low frequency response. This fits into the spare tire location of my 2024 Volkswagen Golf R, and sounds phenomenal. I no longer have to sacrifice any trunk space to equal the performance of much larger enclosures.
Cons: (maybe) the only con I can think of is that Alpine doesn't make the same setup in a 8 inch or even a 6 inch driver? I mean, that's not much of a complaint, but perhaps there are folks out there who don't JUST need the low profile, but an even smaller overall package? As far as performance and low end frequency response in a low profile package, this beats everything I've tried for 9 years by leaps and bounds. I really don't have anything negative to complain about.

2013 Toyota Tacoma
Fits PERFECTLY behind either seat of 2013 Toyota Tacoma Dbl. Cab. I paired thesub with an Alpine S-A60M S-Series Class D Mono Amplifier. Hits hard. Love the "hide-ability", cannot see from outside of car. Glad I opted for this v/s a normal sub box.
Pros: Hides great. Hits hard.
Cons: Cannot find one yet, just got it. :)
