I was having some issues with my previous controller for mk MK8 GTI, I also had 20ohm resistors beore the signal goes in which created some static issues. I called the Crutchfield team who are always incredibly knowledgable, kind and patient. I ordered the item through them, received it, installed it, and man, took care of the issue immediately. Could not be happier.

Awesome fix for my problem in a 2025 Pathfinder. The problem is that when you pull the factory speakers the factory amp scrams and does not put out a signal to your aftermarket amplifier. However, this LOC provides a load on the line, this turning the factory amp back on. Easy fix and the folks at Crutchfield were very helpful in providing a solution. Also, I like that this has 4 channels for great sound quality and remote out so it is convenient to provide a trigger source to fire up my powered subwoofer.

Yeah I didn't need to waste my money on this for a sub output.

The clarity

I added this to my system when I bought the harness for my truck. Never used one of these and wasn't sure why I needed it, but glad I grabbed it. This wires in before your amp and then to the amp and the clarity it provides is unbelievable. Not only did my amp make my aftermarket speaker's come to life, this took them to a whole other level. Plus it too, has a bass boost and comes with a bass remote to control it. Really worth the money. And super simple to hook up.

I had no experience at all with one of these devices before but it worked perfectly. I was able to keep my factory head unit and all its features and get a great sounding stereo system because of this device. I was slightly intimidated by its intricacies initially but it was perfect and easier to set up than expected

I was hesitant on purchasing an LOC, as I didn't think I needed one. I tried every other way to bypass the resistance sensor in my factory stereo and this thing fixed all my problems. Awesome product!

I purchased this for my Challenger R/T with no factory amp in car. I installed a small amp in back and replaced all of my speakers with infinitys. And this device was a lifesaver. Works like a charm. Not hard to install at all. Just follow directions and you will be fine. Works great! Now when I have my subs on I can also have clear loud crisp sound to go along with the bass.

Pros: If your vehicle did not come with a factory amp and you want to replace them with better quality speakers and add an amp this is the way to go.

Cons: Wish they had a PAC LPA.E5 with sub output
