Excellent kit. Operates just like the OEM unit. Install is a little tedious and takes some time, but it's not difficult at all, and that's due to Chevy's design of the system, nothing to do with the PAC kit. Overall I'm very, very happy with it so far.

Awful instructions

After the 3rd wiring harness and weeks of waiting it finally worked. The instructions were horrible, I honestly think the instructions made it more difficult and confusing. Customer service was great but that's the only thing great about any of it. I would have rather just bought a $40 phone mount rather than paying quite a bit for a shabby CarPlay setup

Great install kit!

Very good quality, love the outside temp display with animation. Knobs come pre-installed, you just have to choose from heated seat buttons or solid buttons and it's ready to go! Fits the JVC head unit I bought perfectly. Really close to factory look!

Great upgrade

The kit is well made and comes with everything needed to hook up your new head unit. I did go ahead and swap out the climate control knobs as I liked the feel of the OEM unit just a tad better (my OCD kicked in). The only issue I had was not related to the kit - if you're installing a rear cam on a '10-'11 Camaro then this will take some extra time. Once installed it looks great - I like it much better than the MyLink units in the newer Camaro's.

Worked well for a month and then the steering wheel controls stopped working. Spoke with an advisor and did what was suggested. Now the module module won't come on. Have had pac products before with similar outcomes. Would like to get a refund if possible.

Looks and works great

Used this on my 2011 Camaro SS and fits perfect. The color matches the rest of the car. All of the features work well. Directions weren't super detailed and I struggled with some settings on the brain. I called tech support and they were amazing. This unit looks like it came from the factory and work that way to.

I was looking to upgrade my 2014 Camaro's radio since the stock receiver gave out on me. I was on the fence about upgrading simply because many aftermarket dash harnesses are... well, ugly! I liked the stock look of the Camaro dash assembly and wanted to keep the look & feel. Thankfully the PAC kit exists and I'm very glad I bought it. This new version from PAC is already pre-assembled for the most part, so if you follow older YouTube videos, you don't have to take apart your factory harness for the knobs / buttons. You just need the clips from the original unit and then you pop in the heated/non-heated seat plates. No need to strip the screws either, already there. The PAC kit works beautifully, it retains all of the factory functionality and fits great. The only cons are: - that the instructions could be a little clearer with outlining parts by part # in the bag - that the harness itself didn't have the little bump on the side edges - it would look much sleeker if it was a smooth taper the whole way down the side - I wish the buttons for lock/unlock and hazards had more of a hard click to them, sometimes I have to double check if I actually pressed hard enough Otherwise, this is an excellent unit -- I recommend having Crutchfield do the wiring for you; I didn't do it myself but in the future I will. This unit does have a lot of wires to join, so save yourself some time & energy and pay the extra few bucks for the service.

Works great! All functions work as needed. Paired this with Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX. Paid Crutchfield to do all the wiring connections upfront. Note, this Pioneer unit is a short chassis. I did not need to cut the dash expect for the pointy nubs as shown in the instructions. Highly recommend cloth taping wiring harnesses and loose connectors to the best extent possible. Also, tape the USB and AUX connections; and the two cables together from the back of the console forward.

Modern look of dash kit

This dash kit was installed into a 2010 Camaro 2LT. The fitment was mostly smooth. It seems that the upper portion of the dash kit does not clip into the stock dash as snug as the OEM one does. Otherwise, all the electronic switches, locks, AC button, heated seats work just as before. The nice thing about this dash kit is the little LED display at the top initially shows the Chevy bowtie then will display the outside temp. Nice little feature. After install, it give the Camaro a much more modern look. The rear view camera that came with the stereo is a must as rear visibility is very limited.

Great dash kit for my 2014 Camaro

Great Dash kit for my 2014 Camaro. I personally think it looks better then the stock one! The Instructions that came with it made it easy. The pictures of the bcm wires to tap into for the door lock button to work could have been better. The hvac knobs aren't the same color as the stock ones but still look good and work properly.

I have had both the factory stereo and a different style aftermarket setup that used just buttons. This one by far has the most factory look for an aftermarket set up. Had a few problems with the heated seat button on the drivers side. Crutchfield took care of it quickly and sent out a replacement unit. Replacement unit is working fantastic. Also great customer service. Thanks.

The kit was to small for the radio i had to cut out a larger space and completely ruined the kit it looks terrible but it works and i cant afford a new one so this has to do uall said the radio would fit but it didnt i had to modify

Nice kit, but module seems to have an issue

I orderd this PAC dash kit to replace the Metra dash kit I had previously purchased from Crutchfield seven years ago. The first thing I noticed is that my double DIN stereo is a tighter fit with the PAC dash kit than with the previous kit. Everything fits, but it's a bit of a tight squeeze getting the stereo in place properly. Having the steering wheel controls included is a nice touch. The climate control knobs look great and function well. The one main issue I had with the PAC kit was that if I cranked up the volume on my stereo high enough, the stereo would power off and then power back on within a couple of seconds. This is an issue that never happened with my previous kit, and since the stereo didn't do this if I connected it's accessory power red wire to a constant 12V source, the problem wasn't with my stereo either. With a multimeter, I found that when this happens, the 12V accessory red wire coming from the RPK module cuts voltage to the stereo. Crutchfield sent me a replacement PAC kit, but I had the same problem with it too. I was able to get around this by connecting my stereo's red accessory power wire to an alternate accessory power source, completely bypassing the RPK module. Everything's working fine now, but having to troubleshoot and find an alternate wiring method for a brand new product is less than ideal.

Defective heated seat buttons...

The kit is really awesome overall, but there are significant flaws. I ordered this with a ReadyHarness, which helped IMMENSELY and I would strongly recommend. The one gripe I have is that the unit I received was defective (in a small way). The alignment, fit, and finish were overall very strong -- but the knobs were misaligned on the unit by about 1/16 of an inch (too low and to left), and the heated seat buttons that need to be installed into the unit wouldn't fit correctly. Once pushed in, they were stuck in the 'on' position. PAC support was great and timely, but asked me to pry out the buttons with a small flathead screwdriver. I did so carefully after painters' taping the area, but this didn't remedy the issue. I'm still waiting for an answer from them on if they are going to send another face plate. I went with a shallow DIN Pioneer DMH-4660 NEX which fits nicecly behind the unit without having to cut the dash (which traditional deep-DIN units require). Overall, I'll change this to 4-5 stars if I can get the heated seat issue remedied. Like I said, PAC and Crutchfield have been fantastic thus far.... so we'll see.

Instructions were poor needs pictures of actual connections. The new dash panel is bigger than the factory and made reinstalling the console gauge panel almost impossible, I had to cut it to make it fit.

Was OK, but a little pricey for how much trouble it is.

Everything fits well except for the main black box that everything plugs into... for my install, the box has to sit a certain way inside otherwise the speakers don't work. It is incredibly finicky and was a pain in the behind to get working properly. Other than that, this set is great because it comes with a steering wheel control adapter, as well as a spot for a Sirius XM.

Keep factory look of Camaro

I have always hated the 2010-2012 Camaro factory radios. This kit keeps factory look and option of a much better radio. I also liked that this kit came with HVAC knobs as the other kit like this requires them to be switched off the factory dash. With this kit, Crutchfield did not offer the option of paying them $25 to do the wiring so it requires the customer to connect the wiring from this kit to whatever radio is purchased. Instructions from kit and radio show how to wire it so was not a big deal(although looks cleaner when they do it). I would recommend this kit for anyone with a Camaro that has the basic, terrible radio if they want to keep the factory look.
