Price is way higher and no bass knob. But very happy with RF as expected. RF amp just says 1500bd,no cp on front like others? But it's on the serial numbers fyi. 1-10. Give a 8. Sq is great .
Pros: Great sound , definitely gets loud , compact, puts out way more then it says
Cons: Price, no bass knob. Come on RF!

THE BEST PERIOD!
QUALITY! QUALITY! QUALITY! Sure, there are other amps out there that claim to give you this type of power but that's on paper. Rockford is the only amp that has a birth sheet proving their product actually out performs the specs given. Other amps: - Are not CES certified - Will go into protect mode when you give them power they claim they can handle - Overseas cookie cutter companies that put their name on the products - Don't have a 2yr warranty like Rockford Fosgate - Are not CTA-2006 compliant. Which mean your amplifier's output power ratings are REAL POWER, not inflated marketing ratings. etc....etc I can go on & on but before I run out of characters allowed, check out RF www & Crutchfield www for all the technology RF put in their amps & all their products because they love what they do & are passionate about their products they make for US! I recommend anything RF & I'm not a fanboy. I simply experienced their products over decades to understand what makes them THE BEST PERIOD!
Pros: Loud true consistent power across all ohms Well built with pure technology for quality Great aesthetics Established company since the 70's. 2yr warranty
Cons: Everybody says high price but you pay for quality Gets super hot but keeps bumpin'

Excellent amplifier. Rated at 1500w but the dyno bench test shows it actually puts out 1920! More than enough power to push my 2 Alpine Type Rs. You can't go wrong with RF. I Wish they had also included the bass control knob too instead of asking another 40 for it, but hey, it is what it is.
Pros: Puts out more power than they are rated for. Clean quality power.
Cons: No bass knob included. Every other smo manufacturers include it free, so this is just a money grab on their part.

I'll start by mentioning I moved to this from a rf p1000 running 2 P3D4s. The sound before was good and the knob rendered the full spectrum of bass. The gain was over 1/2 and having the hu fine tuned for zero bass to it's full potential. This t1500 doesn't seem to have as wide of range meaning it's more all or nothing. This could be a result of my first tune w it. Regarding that, the gain adjustment is on the bottom so this limits my adjustability access the way it's positioned in my set up. I do like that the bass seems to have increased. On the p1000 the subs were 1ohm and on the t1500 they're at 4ohm. This possibly gets them closer to their full sensitivity potential. Volume is able to get higher even w the gain seemingly high for my taste. All in all I do like it and it's the continuation of my upgrading. I did the big 5 and don't need a capacitor or ho alternator for my impala, it seems very capable of keeping up.
Pros: Great power
Cons: Adjustments on the bottom in my configuration.

Great amp but you would think a top end amplifier would include the bass control knob like its cheaper line of amps.
Pros: Great power and looks sweet!
Cons: No bass control knob included! The other lower series amps include them. Don't make sense not being included on the most expensive amps Fosgate makes

Big Power, Bigger Heat.
Pete from Everett, WA on 4/27/2022
Purchased both the T1500-1 to go with a pair of Rockford T1 15"subs, and also got the matching 600-4 4 channel for the highs for a system I installed in one of my vehicles. Immediately I had problems with the 1500 getting far too hot, even with the volume turned to low levels the amp would become too hot to hold your hand on within 5 minutes of turning it on. I returned it for a replacement and the second amp did the same thing. I contacted Rockford and they told me the 1500 runs hot due to the power supply but having worked as a installer for over 10 years I knew this was not normal. I could only use it after installing a fan to blow air on it, and it performed well after that, even though it would still get much hotter than it should..
Pros: Quality product, underrated specs, looks cool.
Cons: Mine required a fan to not overheat,

gives good power but at the expense of the sound, it doesn't sound as clean as my DD m2a nor as clean as a JL HD 1200. the CP tech is good and hits hard but made my subs sound blah. I have Morel Ultimos and so it just made them sound less articulate and detailed. Now in direct comparison to the JL HD1200, I would pay the extra money for the JL for the SQ and tbh it's plenty loud even for me.
Pros: lots of power
Cons: gets very hot not clean sounding not for sq

Absolutely perfect. I've always been a fan of Rockford Fosgate amps. In my opinion if you're looking for top of the line then this is it. I purchased the T1500 to power my 2- JL Audio 12W6V3 in the sealed JL Audio enclosure. I've never been happier. I was running them on a Skar 2000.1D and there's no comparison. Don't get me wrong Skar makes excellent products however it can't compare to the clarity and continuous power of the RF amp. I have finally perfectly tuned it. It's running at 4ohms and dyno'd at 1222 watts RMS. I can't handle the gain past 3/11 the Punch EQ passed +9db and the bass knob less than 1/2. It vibrates the wipers on my Acura RDX. After 20 minutes of intense bass your teeth hurt. It's a absolutely amazing set up. Definitely worth the money.y next goal is 2 JL Audio 13W7AE and the RF T2500. That's $5k worth of saving. As for now I can't complain. This amp is definitely worth the money.
Pros: Clean clear bass. No distortion Never shuts off.
Cons: None. Not a single complaint.

If you want clean sounding insane bass, bass that makes women's hair jump in static just for fun, this amp is a work horse, you will need a decent capacitor cause the bass will make your lights flicker, I use the true 10 Farad Hybrid, Rockford Fosgate makes one or NVX makes one as well. You can run multiple amps thru them if needed.
Pros: Puts out 2033 watts RMS, can handle what ever you can dream up.

T1500.1
Carl from Jellico on 11/30/2019
I have had several fosgate amps they all make more power than rated. I rated 4 stars not 5 because I have seen the T1500.1 shut down from heat after running hard a couple hours at 1 ohm. but it cooled and restarted like nothing happened. I do recommend it. I recommend 2 ohms for daily use because it will be more efficient and run cooler. I had a t1500.1bdcp on two 15s they hit 147 db
Pros: Under rated on power.
Cons: Rated at 1 ohm about 55% efficient at 1 ohm and about 85% at 2ohm recommend running at 2 ohm it doesn't draw as many amps at 2ohms as it does at 1 ohm and you don't loose enough power to notice and 2 ohms runs cooler

Good power, punch has best chassis
John from Toledo, OH on 6/28/2017
This amp lives up to the Fosgate name. Loads of power in a small footprint. I upgraded from the punch 1000 watt BD amp for the constant power option. I wish the power series used the punch chassis. The punch amps are mostly metal where the power series has alot of plastic. Not as a premium feel with the power amps. Also not too keen on the side mounted level control's. Overall I like this amp but would prefer the punch if it had the power and constant power option.
Pros: Power, ease of use, reputation
Cons: Cheap feeling(plastic), lack of level indicators, side mounted levels

1500bd on orion 15" this amp is far better than expected i had hifionics 3200w and did not hit hard as this one. you can just here the power punching out heat sink gets hot but everyone knows the orion is 2000rms 5000max, my birth sheet said amp will do 1927 and from what it sounds like i expect some heat...just added fans middle of amp doesnt really feel to hot...really move my huge orion 15 i hink its too much for the sub so i wont turn gain past half or eq.and i blew a pair of pioneer 12 pro series coils are good but literally beat from the basket spider and rim
Pros: great sound best hitting amp ive ever owned..been through a hifonics every year they just blow this one seems way superior
Cons: heat-sink gets hot hard to get fan blowing through heat-sink or just keep it cool guess its doing its job drawing heat out...rather that than a blown amp

Impressive System design!
Sheldon from Douglas, WY on 5/19/2017
I had Crutchfield design a system for my 2013 Duramax Crew Cab....very impressed with the quality sound it produces......and man can it hit! Soooo flipping loud it's obnoxious to all who don't appreciate a kick butt system! Way to go Crutchfield! Now about the system.....it all starts up front with an Alpine INE-W960 head unit. Had this professionally installed as the existing Bose system was a pain to remove and incooperate the new system into the Onstar naviagation. But anyway removed existing 4 ...door speakers and 2 post tweeters as Crutchfield recommended new MTX speakers. Then we had a custom down fire box made for the 2 JLAudio 10 inch W3v3-4 subs. Crutchfield decided to power the door and post tweeters with a JL Audio 4x....man the high ends from this 4 channel amp is unbelievable! Now to the big boy Mono amp.....the part that vibrates the neighborhood windows and got me in trouble with the neighbors as their dogs began to howl and cry at the booming music! Ha ha! Rockford Fosgate T1500 powers these subs which cannot come close to handling it so.......Crutchfield sent me a Kicker ported box that houses 2-12inch Kicker COMPR that comfortably sits on my back seat when I really feel like turning it up and making the dogs cry! Lol! All 4 subs are wired into that mono beast....watch out! This awesome system Crutchfield designed can play all sorts of music and sound amazing as it does it! Many thanks to Crutchfield....u guys rock....great tech support too!
Pros: Loudest and hardest hitting system I ever had! Great design Crutchfield! Your techs def know what they are doing and great tech support to follow with the system install. It's tough to get a loud...hard hitting great sounding system into a truck.....but Crutchfield hit it out of the park!
Cons: Gets me in trouble with the neighbors and their dogs......so be it.

I've had this amp and a Power 400-4 and both are absolutely amazing! I have 2 P'3 12's @ 4 ohms in a custom box tuned to 32 Hz and they pound hard wiwithout my amp ever breaking a sweat. I installed 4 fans on my amp rack but I've never had to turn them on not once because my Power amp barely get warm even in the summer. I'm in the process of reckoning my T2 4 ohm 12 inch woofer so I can finally see what this amp does @ 1 ohm. The birth sheet has this amp doing 1912 rms @ 1 ohm but I've only ran it 1214 rms @ 4 ohms. It's THE BEST sub amp I have ever owned hands down!
Pros: I bit pricey but well worth it! I can play music for hours and it won't get hot.

Great power for my subs
Jason from Miamisburg, OH on 4/1/2016
This thing is a beast. I know it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. It's pushing 2 NVX VCW124's at 1 Ohm and it's pushing these things hard. My birth sheet said 1927 watts x 1 at 1 ohm, so you have to have the electrical system to handle this thing. Throw a couple small fans on it and you won't ever have a problem. I did also use reducers for 0/1 gauge wire for the amp and 8 gauge wire to the subs and I don't have a problem with heat. The PEQ remote is a great addition as well.
Pros: solid, clean power
Cons: upgrade your electrical system or it will suck it dry.

The quality is fa-nominal, Let me start with I have upgraded the big three and two yellow top batteries, My subs are massive 12 hippos in a box tuned at 40hz 7.1 cubic feet, 5.9 with subs. I have each sub at 1 ohm. each sub has its own Rockford fosgate 1500-1bdcp. birth sheets 1952 and 1950 watts. I can say being at a god smack concert up front by the sound stage (speakers) has nothing on what is occurring from vehicle. it will take your breath away, it shacks your eye's. Lows so low it shacks the cars around me at a traffic light.. It is the best I have owned, I have had several other amps with higher watt ratings on their sheets and they do not preform as well as these amps do. I am very much sold by Rockford fosgate.. you get what you pay for, I have received more than what I payed for from these amps.
Pros: constant power, the engineering
Cons: not a thing in my eyes.

Unbelievable power
gatorthapimp from Loganville, GA on 8/12/2015
I had a different amp rated at 1500 watts before getting this one the difference is unbelievable. Rockford still brings it. My soundqubed 10 has come to life and is slamming my truck. Songs that were lacking punch earlier now sound as they should. My birthsheet rated it over 1900 watts but the thing that really sold me on this one is the Constsnt Power when a speaker moves or is playing a sing your ohm load will change for most amps that means less power but not with this baby. Buy it and you will know what I mean. Next year im thinking of upgrading to the 2500 beast and getting a second 10".
Pros: Tons of power across all impedance loads. Never shuts off as long as I feed it what it needs. Sound quality is great.
Cons: I wish Rockford still made these in the USA.

I hear bells ringing!
Samurai_Yoda from Hill Country, TX on 4/8/2015
Holy moly Batman! I still hear bells ringing in my head. Talk about some thump! Hooked this badboy up to two Alpine SWR-10D2's subs in parallel in a 2-Ohm load and made all my initial amp gain settings and so forth with my head unit and x-over and Blam! I'm running this in a 2004 Ford F-150 STX with a complete wall behind my seat. Subs are lined up directly behind my seats in sealed boxes. (A little hint for you... Sealed boxes take up less space and have a tighter response and sound better in a truck IMHO.) My neighbors totally hate me now! Lol! Now I wish I would have bought the 2500 Watt version though, although the Alpine subs might not and probably wouldn't be able to handle the full power of that monster. Don't waste time with other sub amplifiers, just buy a Rockford Power series and you won't regret it! Do the Big 3 Upgrade while your're at it and use 1/0 AWG Oxygen Free Copper Wire or this baby will starve for power.
Pros: Plenty of power and built in infrasonic filter with X-over and pass through RCA outputs.
Cons: Sucks some juice from your system when it's really hitting hard. Top plastic plate rattles a little bit. (There's a simple solution though.)

Havent upgraded my alt yet but even now this thing has beaten a sundown audio SA-12 to pieces literally. Anyone familiar with those subs knows it takes a lot to blow them but this amp can definitely do it. Sound quality and power output of this amp are exceptional. Best I've ever owned and I only ran at 2 ohm.
Pros: Everything
Cons: Heatsink does its job but this will get hot to touch after a while. It's part of the design though and might get better once I upgrade my electrical a bit. Just don't sit this on plastic and you'll be fine. Never gone into thermal protect.

Donnie from Tylertown,MS on 6/4/2014
I use this amp to run two 15 inch T1's. The amp has plenty of control over the subs running it at a one ohm load. It's performance is flawless. I have it mounted on the rear floor pan in a Nissan Versa hatchback. If this is the amount of power you need I highly suggest you get it and have a huge smile on your face like I always do when listening to mine. One last thing , I would suggest getting the PEQ remote, as it does come in handy.
Pros: Power, Performance, Flawless, and Plenty of control over my subs. Crutchfield tech was correct this thing is wicked strong.
Cons: I will never settel for anything less.

Seven years strong!
DJDan from Tampa, FL on 6/1/2014
I bought this amp about 7 years ago and have run several different systems with it. I currently run a JL Audio 12W7 with it and could easily run another. The amp has been in 6 different cars and has not failed me once. I run a single 4ga power cable as the manual suggests and it powers it easily. It seems so small for what the power that it puts out but if you're running some decent subs, it'll speak for itself if anyone has a problem with how physically small it is. It's just good technology, and it can be so small because it's well built and efficient.
Pros: Plenty of power, small package, no overheating, multiple mounting options, classy appearance.
Cons: Price could be a couple hundred less, but for the reliability, it's hard to beat.

I have the 1500 and the power 400.4 and my amps don't rattle. The 1500 bdcp is amazing. I have it on 2 l7s and its a mobile earthquake. My birthsheet stated that mine puts out 1956 rms @ 1 ohm. You get way more than you pay for with rockford. I will never buy anything else again. Worth every penny.
Pros: Compact and powerful
Cons: Expensive.....but the best

Serious Power
Ben W from Jonesville, MI on 1/24/2014
If you're looking for a powerful amp that actually does what it is rated and some, this is the amp! I'm running a Rockford Fosgate T2 15" woofer @ 1 Ohm and with this amp and it SLAMS! According to the birthsheet it is doing 1830 Watts RMS @ 1 Ohm, with that being said make sure you have a high output alternator and definitely a 200 amp or higher fuse. This amp sucks power for sure! Definitely worth the money.
Pros: Does more than rated, and stays cool! Great quality as well!
Cons: None.

Tons of power.... BUT!!!
DR127 from Frederick, MD on 9/15/2012
I just put the Power T600-4 and T1500-1bd in my car. For shear power these amps are awesome! My one and only complaint is the shiny plastic cover they put on the amplifer. At high volume they rattle soooo loud I cant even listen to them. I would have gladly taken a matte or brushed aluminum finish over the shiny rattle trap. With a T1500-1bd and two Power T1 12" subs, chasing down rattles is hard enough. Now I have to worry about $$$ worth of amplifers annoying my ears with a high pitch rattle from their oh so pretty casings. Deal, or No Deal? I say... NO DEAL!
Pros: Tons of power Run cool and smooth
Cons: Audio Equipment that rattles. Doesn't get much worse than that.

MONSTER
ibd2328 from Coeburn, VA on 3/19/2012
If you are looking for top of the line power and world class SQ look no further. I love the bd-class, it matches great SQ with the power efficiency of a class D amplifier. The new heatsink design disperses heat evenly so no part of them amp overheats. The 1ohm load rating is just off the charts: 1932. I would suggest using a Digital Multi Meter when hooking this up to get the proper gain and crossover settings(or a processor http://www.crutchfield.com/p_109MS8/JBL-MS-8.html?search=ms-8&skipvs=T). The power and SQ this monster puts out is unbelievable.
Pros: EVERYTHING
Cons: Plastic control knobs(they work fine, just use the proper tweaking tool)

brute force in a black box!
Beau from Nashville, TN on 8/26/2010
Being 32 yrs old, I have had a lot of amps but now I've come to appreciate better quality such as this Rockford 1,500 watt + powerhouse. Before I bought this amp for my little commuter car I had a JL J2-1000 amp but it couldnt keep the power up like this Fosgate beauty does. I had my T1500 powering a JL 12w7 in the HO box, but I've also got a pair of L7's in a Kicker box for loud pound. This amp is under-rated a good bit, and will put out plenty of clean power with a good strong charging system. I rebuild alternators for a living, and let me tell you this: a nice quality 140-220 amp alternator, big 3 upgrade, and a true deep cycle or AGM battery will let you turn amperage into some serious wattage with this amplifier. It has the real deal birth sheet that displays power output numerically as well as graphed. Mine stated it made 1,908 watts at 1 ohm, 1,755 watts at 2 ohms, and 1164 at 4 ohms... If you run it at 1 or 2 ohms make SURE you get a 200 amp ANL fuse! This puppy will pull some current. I really like my JL Audio 1000/1v2 amp in my other car for hi-damping & sub flexibilty, but when I want to feel raw power and lots of it, I go down the road with my new RF T1500-1bdcp bumping my subs... Constant Power!
