Features

Marine Tested: Rockford Fosgate uses industry standard tests (ASTM B117 salt/fog and ASTM G154 UV) to ensure the M0-65 speakers are durable in the difficult marine environment.

Tweeters: The ½" balanced dome tweeters are made of LCP (liquid crystal polymer), a high strength/light weight material. The tweeters are bridge mounted to the grille, useful in a marine speaker because no opening through the middle of the woofer for the mounting post is needed.

ICC Crossover: The ICC (Integrated Concealed Crossover) simplifies installation and protects the crossover by concealing it inside the basket, creating a cleaner look and easier installation. The crossover has a 6 dB/octave slope.

VAST Surround: The Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST) increases a speaker's effective radiating cone area without increasing the size of the basket.

Can you run these with a amp?

Greetings Jonathan. Thank you for your question. These Rockford Fosgate speakers are rated for 65 RMS watts, so yes they can take an amp that has 65 watts or less.

I was wondering if I would be able to install these in the front door panels of a Pontiac g5 doors get moisture in them and need marine grade speakers?

Greetings Matt, and thank you for your question. These will not fit the cut out hole in your G5 doors. You have under a 6 inch diameter hole, and these need a 7 inch hole. They are fine depth wise, but they are 1 inch tall above their mounting surface. Under your factory door panel grilles, you have .75 inches. Thats another issue. Polk Audio car speakers are marine certified, and would be a much easier fit. www.crutchfield.com/p_107DB652/item.html

Will these speakers be a big improvement from the Panasonic B17206X speakers with 160 W music peak that are currently in my boat?

It really depends on how you're powering the speakers. You want to pay attention to the rms power on the speakers and not the peak power. Peak only indicates the amount of power the speakers can handle in short bursts, like a bass hit. The Rockford Fosgate M0-65 are great sounding speakers with a great frequency response to give you a nice full sound. These will sound great with a aftermarket radio and even better with an amp around 60 watts rms. If you need more information give us a call at 1-800-324-9695.

Will these fit in the front fairing of a 17 street glide?

Greetings Mike. Thanks for your question. Most of our Harley Davidson speakers are designed by companies specific for a certain motorcycle. We don't get the chance to research extensively like we do for most cars and trucks. Most non-HD specific speakers would need some type of adapter bracket which we do not have for the 2017 Street Glide at this point. If you are alright with re drilling new screw holes as these use 6 and your factory speakers should be 4. These need a 5.4 inch cutout.

I'm not sure about saltwater but I've had them exposed to freshwater and the pressure washer and they're working great

I have no idea about saltwater but they get completely submerged in muddy water all the time first set lasted 5years and I replaced them with the same thing. One of my amps also went under and played for another 2 years with water leaking out of it for a while rockford has some awesome marine products
