2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS
Sounds good. Put in a 2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS - base model. The dash speakers looked to be regular speakers - so this component kit made them into tweeters/highs only. The door speakers in the car - one of them was scratching badly and with the replacement, the sound quality is better than the stock speakers. More defined bass than stock speakers.

Great price for replacing blown factory Blaupunkt speakers. Sensitivity not as great as originals, but I can compensate with fader and balance controls. Didn't order the wiring harness for the satellite tweeters. Maybe later.

2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
Installed on a 2001 Monte Carlo SS, the (READ FOR TWEETER MOUNT ADVICE) passenger side door speaker was blown out. Was looking for a slight upgrade but nothing crazy. For the price these seemed like a good option. Overall quality of speaker is 10/10 doesn't feel like a cheap speaker at all. Mounting holes were on point. The tweeter was a difficult one to mount on my car. Ended up cutting a hole in the bottom part of the door on a flat spot, comes up to about knee height by the furthest point of the seat, and making it flush mount in the door, and it looks like it belongs there! Ended up doing a jerry rig and using 2 part epoxy to hold the speakers into the door nice and tight incase a door gets slammed. Then routed the wires through the door to behind the speaker. The sound quality is much more crisp than the stock speakers, and the tweeters pickup the highs very good the crossover level is perfect. Not a MASSIVE upgrade over stock in depth overall however much more pronouced and clearer sound. If you are looking for a slight upgrade from the original speakers in the door, these do the job for $75!

2015 RAV4 no subwoofer: Must custom fit front tweeters in dash because original speakers are twice its size. Also had to grind front door speaker opening at the four fastening points in order make the screw clips function properly. Then foam taped the remaining 1/4" gap between speaker edge and door opening. Performance is marginally better, helped by the various audio settings from the Pioneer (low power) head unit. Kinda get what you pay for, but would opt out had I known the extent of rework required. Next time if there is one, amp it up!

These were definitely not an upgrade over stock speakers. I actually wish I could return these. No power to them at all. These were recommended as an "upgrade" and they are quieter and less powerful overall. Even with the tweeters the sound is awful.

It cost me $400 to fix the damage after installation but they sound nice. Tweeters don't fit inside 2016 VW Jetta pillars. The instructions pretty much say "figure it out yourself." Pay someone to do it. Never again.

Door speakers play great. I ran the original wires to the 6.5 and it sounds very good and no distortion with everything turned up.The tweeters sort of leave something to be desired but not terrible. Kinda just sounds like you're listening to the audio through a walky talky. For the price, they're pretty good speakers.

Cons: Tweeters won't fit in stock location without some creativity but thats pretty normal for most tweeters.

Great upgrade over my stock speakers. I was worried going from a 6x9 to a 6.5 door speaker but they sound much better and have a more crisp sound. I highly recommend if you want an upgrade but want to spend less than 100 for front doors. I am on an aftermarket boss stereo without an additional amplifier.

Beware, tweeters aren't a direct fit. When I called tech support, I was told I had to remove the tweeters from the supplied enclosure. They are glued in and are impossible to get out without damaging the speaker.

The tweeters are worthless. They would have fit my 2018 HRV, but I tested them against the factory tweeters, and the factory tweeters were better by far(so we did not use these tweeters). We also tested and replaced the factory mids with these, and it was a very nice upgrade. I gave the speaker a combined 2 -- 4 for the mids and 0 for the tweeters.
Pros: The mids are good, and an upgrade from the factory front door speakers.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of theses speakers. If you're looking bad sounding and worse quality then you have found the right speakers. Installed these in the back doors of my Tacoma can't find the words to describe them. Toyota OEM speakers are much better sound quality than theses.

Disappointed. Replaced the stock door speakers in '23 Maverick. I wasn't impressed with the oem speakers but honestly they have more bass and a better tone than the Rockford R165. I installed the passenger side first and then played left side vs right side and honestly it wasn't really close. I finished the install , but all in all I'm not a fan.

This component system sounds amazing fresh out of the box! I can only imagine what they will sound like after they break in. ;) Very nice. The service from Crutchfield is from another galaxy, too. I wish many retailers would attempt to model the way Crutchfield moves. A+ So far, I find the bass to be sufficient with this component system. After all, it's a 6.5" speaker. What do you expect? The highs are superb, and the mids are very respectable! I certainly would recommend these.

I've always been a fan of Rockford Fosgate, I've switched out any stock speakers with these in any car I've owned. The quality and price are what makes these worth purchasing again and again. The fit was easy since I already had brackets that fit the speaker installed. Wiring was plug and play. Sound quality is an 7/10 without fine tuning the stereo. Will probably end up 9/10 once I work on that.

Previously install the speakers in my vehicle. The hardware that came with it was a direct fit and an easy installation. The speakers sound great with good sound definition and crisp high notes. Only minor setback is that they do not have as much low bass which is not a big problem. Otherwise, they are a great replacement for any original factory speaker. 2009 civic si front doors.

Disappointment abounds. Put in a 2022 Honda Pilot and the stock speakers sound way better. As another reviewer said, no bass- at all. It's a 6.5in tweeter. I replaced the passenger side first. Faded front then left -right a few times and they sounded horrible compared to the stock. I have high, mid, and low all the way up, which is what I always do. Returning with tears of sadness.

2018 Honda Accord Sport
Good and inexpensive speaker replacement for my stock Honda Accord Sport. Installation in the Accord is a pain, but doable. Took me several hours for front and rears. They sound much clearer than the stock speakers but are not louder. Speakers are actually a little smaller that stock. But like I said, they sound much more clear than stock and there's no need for a new amp, greatly simplifying installation.
Pros: Sound clarity much better than stock.
Cons: Not as powerful as I hoped. Bass a little lacking in power.

2001 GMC Sierra 2500
Fast shipping A++. Plug and play install on the mids. Drilled 4 holes and mounted to the door so the door panels could be easily removed if maintenance was needed for window regulator repairs or whatever later. Removed factory tweeters from their mount and moved mount to the back of the door pannel. This gave me room to mount the tweeters with the provided screws to the factory tweeter mount and not hit the factory door metal cover. I did have to cut off the excess wire provided and use 2 butt connectors to connect to the provided wire harness on the one end for the tweeter and plugged into the factory plug. I do like the extended wire on the tweeters for location options. Would buy again but I'm sure these speakers will last a while. Instructions and help booklets will assist beginners on installation.

These speaker's are ok. Not great. My stock speaker's sounded better then these. I really feel like I got ripped off by buying these. I did all the work myself. Install had a few bumps. The brackets was easy to set up. "But" beware because the screws and nut's it came with are very weak. While hand tightening to my Rav4 they started to break. I mean what were these made of plastic. Had to go to a hardware store and buy better hardware for the install. I wish I can send these back but I guess I can't because I already got rid of my stock speaker's and the box that these came in. I wasted my time and my hard earned money on these. Would not recommend!!! Even with any amp still dissatisfied
Pros: I felt really good that I did the work all by myself
Cons: Hardware very cheap. Go to a hardware store for better nuts and bolts. Very displeased with these speakers.

They're good speakers for the price. Not much bass in the Renegade with these but they sound pretty clear. It's worth buying them if your system needed new speakers. Not too much of an upgrade.

First time experience with Crutchfield .. Installed these with an aftermarket head unit which I am not currently running an external amp on, head unit sounded great on the stock 16 year old speakers in my Nissan Titan but they weren't the proper ohm rating, thought with all the rave reviews these speakers would sound at least as good or better considering the description and rms range . they do not perform near as good as the 16 year old factory paper speakers, lack bass and mids big time compared to the factories and have more distortion (I wired these new speaker in the front and left the factories in the rear and faded back and forth playing with settings and volume for comparison, double checked wiring ) I am not happy at all, I have a stock Prius that blows these things out of the water .. unbelievable, not even in the same ballpark, how are these getting rave reviews??

I thought the process was going to be good and I was going to receive stuff I could use. But lo and behold after ripping a whole vehicle apart to install these found that there was wrong thing sent not enough Parts sent and just simply wasn't going to work without cutting up my vehicle. After clarifying that so not too enthused with the whole process and not to enthused with the whole entire return process definitely will never do business with these people again. And be very leery if you're going to order stuff I don't care how long a company's been around they can go to crap just like all the other ones do.

Good upgrade over stock speakers. Not as much low end as some other brands, but for a budget friendly upgrade, these are a solid choice. My one real gripe, and it's honestly minor, is that the tabs for the wires to connect to a little flimsy, so you need to be careful when installing them.

So far, it's been outstanding! Highly recommend it. I bought two of these kits to upgrade my 2018 Honda Civic SI sedan's original sound system and the improvement is clear. They are described only for the bottom front door panels but easily fit on the rear deck without any adaptation. I am running them on my original stereo but always listen to music at top volume and these do not distort and play strong on any type of music. I am very happy with these and you will not be disappointed if you buy them!
Pros: - Good Bang for the Buck; - Highest Quality Construction; - Superior Sound Quality - Durability; - No distortion and clear sound throughout

Excellent speakers! Night and Day difference between these speakers and the stock speakers in my 2000 Toyota Tundra. Even without an amp these speakers produce excellent sound, i can only imagine what they'd sound like with an amp. Had to modify the stock tweeter location a little too get the new ones to fit, but not difficult at all with a Dremel tool and some patients. I'd recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their speakers.

Very good components for the price. Installation was fairly simple , but in order to use the speed clips, after drilling out the rivets, i had to modify the lip around the opening of the door for the clips to fit. Other than that installation was easy. They sound great, my right drivers door speaker was popping, so this was a great replacement.

I still have to install the rear speakers, which are The Rockford Fosgate R1675X2. Thses compliments the front. Both from the Prime line of Rockford Fosgate...Also! Cruthfield helps with the type of car these will fit, and once ordered. You'll get brackets and wire harness specifically for your car. That's a great deal!
Pros: Quality speakers. Although these (Prime) are lower cost than Power and The Punch Lines. Rockford Fosgate delivers great results no matter what speakers RF creates.

The 10 year old factory speakers I was upgrading from had better clarity, range, and did not distort at half volume like these did on a factory head unit with no amp. 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid
I hoped these Fosgate R165-S speakers would perform better than the stock speakers in my '21 Rav4 XLE (non-JBL.) The tweeters are fine, but the woofers do not have as good a bass response as the originals. I'm not looking for earth-shattering sound at my age, just as good a loudness, if not better, than stock. I have to turn up the base setting a couple of notches in the stereo's audio control to get there. I had to ponder the installation instructions for a couple of hours to figure them out, then perform an online search to understand how to install some parts. The black 1-1/4 inch self-tapping screws to mount the woofers to the plastic enclosures are too long. I ended up using a small drill bit to puncture the metal insides of the door so the screws could fully penetrate through the enclosure into the door metal and secure the woofers. I have no idea how to use the black spherical plastic objects that came with the kit. These look like they are intended for the tweeters, but there's no holes in them for the wiring. I also avoided drilling holes in the provided plastic trapezoidal speaker mounts and didn't use them at all. There's no way to secure those spheres to the mounts.

These things are sick me and my dad just wired them in yesterday took a bit of time but they seriously rock and I'm so happy it's worth the money
