Worked as intended. I didn't want to spend very much to have music in an old beater car. These speakers are perfect. I was able to install them easily and they are loud enough with the stock radio to listen to music over road noise.

Nothing to really complain about. They installed fine in a 2013 Frontier SL using the supplied screws only. Not sure if it improves compared to stock 2ohm premium speakers but it's certainly no worse. But needed for an aftermarket head unit or amp upgrade.

Went into a Toyota Tacoma (non JBL) for an upgrade. Magnets are about 4 times larger than the old stock ones. The highs are louder, but that's about it. I had to turn bass down because they were distorted much more than the old ones. Old paper speakers could pound much more than these. I'll keep them, they weren't expensive and maybe have to be broken in.

Bought these to replace the factory speakers in the rear deck of an 06 Camry. They sound great. I enjoy a little bass and they offer enough to satisfy the itch and even makes the car rattle a bit. Definitely check into the RF Prime speakers if you're wanting to replace the factory speakers. They work great even without an amp due to their minimum wattage and high sensitivity.

These are excellent speakers made of material designed to withstand the wide variety of environments speakers in a car will face. All parts of this speaker are well built and come with a generous length of speaker cable for each speaker. These speakers do sound very well, however, the design does interfere with the main drivers ability to provide the best sound it can. This is not a fault of the manufacturer, but a result of the design. Any speaker with a tweeter this small driver will have this issue, so it is expected, but is worth noting for those who are not expecting this. The durability isn't lacking as it doesn't have a protruding tweeter. Overall, this is an excellent buy with great sound quality. For a 2-way speaker on a stock stereo, this set is hard to beat and will provide an excellent upgrade for most all people. According to the specifications, as I cannot test this with my application, these speakers should perform just as well with any aftermarket head unit (stereo) using its own internal amplification. Highly recommended.

Rockford/Fosgate speaker's that I purchased with the Help of a young Lady (LUNA) have a high bang to the buck Ratio, and come from a Company from the 48th state to be Ratified , the Great State of Airizona! Back to the Speaker, I was impressed with the way that the tweeter's were designedinto the center of the voice-coil, I have never seen that before in a coaxial car stereo speaker !!!! WONDERFUL!!!

I replaced my front factory speakers in my 2012 Camry with premium JVC system. I did not replace the rest of my factory speakers. The Rockford Fosgate speakers are much quieter than the factory speakers. I assume the new speakers need more power than the factory speakers. So I may replace the rest of the factory speakers. I would rather not go through the trouble of adding an aftermarket amp.

These have surprised me from the moon and back! These are the most excellent replacement speakers for factory car. It's like an upgrade to my stocks. Perfect amount of bass, perfect amount of loudness, and tight knit sound. I upgraded my wiring also and makes a nice difference. Crutchfield did an amazing job recommending these for stock replacements. It's a lot more of an aftermarket to me. Thank you guys!

Efficient speakers, excellent highs and mids are about average. You need something more powerful than a factory radio if you want the bass to come alive though. But for my purposes they worked fine with my factory radio. I did install some speaker baffles in the rear deck though to help the sound come out with slightly better bass response and less resonance.
Pros: Great simple upgrade. Overall I recommend these speakers.
Cons: Need at least a small amp or after market radio to push the full range to the next level.

These honestly are underwhelming. I upgraded to these in my 2007 Toyota 4Runner from the factory speakers (yes 14 years old) and expected a bump in quality even if it was slight based on the price. I certainly didn't think they would be worse than the factory speakers. I'm powering them with a Pioneer AVH-1330NEX head unit. I knew I would need to have the EQ reset and dialed in for the new speakers so I spent an hour trying to get it setup to get the better sound I thought they were capable of but alas it wasn't meant to be. They don't have much low end, even with the bass boost enabled, while the mids and highs don't have much separation. I got these specifically because I wasn't going to add an amplifier and their high sensitivity. Maybe an amp would help but that is more involved than I have a desire to be. Luckily I kept the factory speakers so they may be going back in.

I'm puzzled why these received such good reviews. I had these in a truck and they were a little better than the factory ones, but not a lot better. Treble was slightly more clear, but the bass was lacking and one speaker broke in a year or two. I was very disappointed. I reinstalled the factory speakers and it was very little difference in sound quality.

These are a great replacement option for those who want a good deal without sacrificing quality. Sounds great in my Tacoma with the factory JBL amplifier, which closely matches the wattage these speakers want. Had a complete system with Rockford Power and Punch series speakers, subs and amps in my 4Runner many moons ago and I've hesitated to spend money on stereo stuff since that rig. These did not disappoint and I still have challenges the factory cargo space. Winning.

Installed in 2013 Camry without JBL system. These speakers are AMAZING, but are a bit underpowered with the stock system. I am installing a subwoofer as well, but these have plenty of bass for the average person, and the stock radio can be turned up to the max with ZERO distortion. Paired with a sub I think the system would be perfect. Highs and mids from these speakers are amazing. I used the install kit and used some self-tapping screws from the hardware store. The Metra plugs included would NOT fit on the terminals of the speakers as they are pretty beefy, so expect some splicing.
Pros: Sound Amazing, Mid and High are perfect as designed
Cons: The installation kit was a bit quirky, not so much a con but the terminals on the speakers are a bit beefier than most, so the Metra quick plugs didn't work on the speaker's size. Might want to add sub to satisfy bass needs

Super easy to install in my 2016 subaru legacy. The holes didn't exactly line up with the included mounts but it wasn't hard to run 2 screws into the holes that didn't line up.

They sound great and I love them, but Jesus christ was it a pain to get them installed. Little to none of the installation components fit (the mounting adapter, screws, and wire harness) i had to manually wire them in with crimp connectors and trying to get them placed and screwed into the rear deck was a night mare. Eventually I had to use my own screws to mount the speaker to the adapter cause the ones it came with were way to big. If you want a good quality speaker these are amazing, great high and low frequency range, and its crystal clear at slightly lower volumes. However, if your going to purchase them, have a professional install them for you cause i guarantee if you've never done this before it will be a nightmare.

Great upgrade speakers installed in a 2017 toyota tacoma. Installation was easy, all needed pieces for the installation/wiring adapters and speaker mounts fit with no issues. Only con was with the installation of the speakers to the included mounting brackets, on the front 2 out of the 4 screws lined up, so drilling 2 holes and using the screw catch plates worked. The rear mounting to the mounting brackets required a bit more hole drilling and using shorter screws with catch plates worked. Simple steps made taking my time for the installation process. Speakers are much better than the factory installed setup. Sound is much more clear and definitely can be turned up much louder than previously.
Pros: decently priced upgrade, great sound, very well made speakers.
Cons: installation for my vehicle required a little bit of customized fitment to the mounting brackets included with purchase. Wiring and vehicle installation was very easy once everything was fitted together.

Nice and punchy. Definitely a noticeable improvement over stock once I replaced my stereo. Stock HKs were distorting on the lower end. These handle it with no problem.

I bought two sets of these for two different Subaru models we currently own. We've own Rockford Fosgates before and were very happy with them. I did not change the radios in the Subaru so I didnt want speakers that would require a lot of power before they sound good. The Rockford Fosgates I picked are so much better than the factory speakers. The supplied adapters are required for the Subaru. Just take your time. Two screws will line up. Drill two pilot holes for the other screws. The included harness adapters made it very easy to connect. Al in all, I reccomend Rockford Fosgate and Crutchfield to everyone.

Very easy to install if you don't want to drill new holes in the back to line up with the mounting holes on these speakers! I used zip ties to secure the speakers as someone else suggested on YouTube. These speakers paired wit the Rockford Fosgate speakers (woofer and separate tweeter) for the front doors sound great!

Going from a 2 ohm factory in my 2014 frontier to a 4 ohm after market, I knew I would lose a little volume. These have much more clarity, but slightly less bass than factory. I would trade clear over muddy any day. Serviceable, worth the money! I'm running a powered sub to fill in the low end. With this set up, it's quite nice.

For a simple speaker upgrade (no AMP or HU upgrade) this is a very practical and a value for money choice. Much better sound output than the factory speakers. Installed in my Accord 2018 EX-L which they claim has a premium sound set up but still needs a lot of improvement

Expected a bit more from these 6x9 2 way speakers. First off their mounting holes are different - couldn't use all 4 screws without drilling thru the speaker basket and of course can't do that. The bass response is not what I expected ... the original speakers had better low frequency response and they were stock! Mids and highs are good. I was originally given wrong size speakers with plastic adapters that didn't fit but those of course sounded better because they were 6.5" round ..they will do for now ...

2005 Camry rear deck 6x9. Sound great, only problem was the holes in the frame that are used for mounting screws are too large in diameter and screws fall through holes. Cannot use larger washers as holes are just about same size as area in speaker frame. Wound up gluing speakers to adapters, which also had issues.

Sound is clear, but not enough on the low-end of the spectrum. Definitely needs an aftermarket amp if you're planning on using these to upgrade your factory system. I installed these on my wife's 2017 highlander with the JBL sound system, the factory speakers are more efficient and provide much more on the lower frequency range.

Installed these in a 18 f150. I was sceptical at first but I have to say I am impressed with how these speakers perform. For anyone considering these just know, they are lacking when it comes to deep hitting bass, however, they do have a much tighter and cleaner bass response than stock. The lack of deep bass is totally fine with me, I will be installing a subwoofer soon enough. Mids are good and highs are perfect. All around great speakers for the money.

These sound AMAZING compared to the stock speakers I replaced in my 2007 Nissan Xterra. The main reason I purchased these though was that they are listed as a direct replacement. Unfortunately, the mounting holes didn't exactly line up and the factory screws were slightly too big. I was able to get 2 screws in on each speaker and have been pleased otherwise!

Can't beat the Price. The only issue I have with these speakers is they produce less bass than the stock speakers I took out. They are running on a DVD Pioneer head unit I bought a couple of months ago. Other than that, they sound clear and the bass sounds tight. I would suggest getting an amp to power them.

Crisp Vocals and Great Sound; Beware the Speaker Wire

2005 Nissan Frontier
Have owned these speakers for about 2.5 years (31 months). Great sound from these replacement speakers in my 2005 Nissan Frontier. These front speakers produce crisp highs and midtones, clear vocals, and a pleasant amount of bass. Beware of the "26 gauge speaker wire" that comes with the product. I used this wire for the connections and after 2.5 years the speakers stopped functioning. The wire appears to have corroded and separated (turned white and powdery). I soldered new wires directly to the terminals and now I am back in service.
Pros: Crisp Vocals, decent sound through the range.
Cons: Speaker Wire that comes with it is shoddy and corrodes.

2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Fit my 07 FJ Cruiser perfect. These speakers sound great and are a huge improvement over the OEM Toyota speakers. Very happy with the sound quality. No modifications needed with the supplied Harness and brackets.

I bought these to replace the stock speakers in my Nissan. They're definitely not the most amazing speakers around but they make for a good replacement at a reasonable cost.
