Just the right choice

In my project of upgrading my 2019 Aston Martin vantage, space and ease of use were critical, not brutal power. I tried two other amps that just were coming up short. Finally, I stepped up to the Rockford. The unit is better constructed, the switch is easier to access and use. All critical attachements are secured either precise allen head fasteners. No monkeying around with baby screws. The manual is also very easy to follow. I am not an electro-geek but a novice wrench. This unit check all the boxes and seems super reliable.

Great car speaker amp!

Amazing amp. Get some speakers that are the same wattage and just run them. Plug and play pretty much. I didn't use it but I like the auto remote turn on feature. I did try it and it works well but I like security if a real remote wire. Had 0 issues at all. Runs my infinity coaxial speakers very well and clear. Just overall a positive experience. I do wish it was a tiny bit smaller. You have to strategically mount it to make it hidden but the materials are high quality for sure. 9/10 overall

Rockford Fosgate R2-200X2

Installed in a 2015 Outback Premium (no HK). Fits nicely under the driver seat. This 2 channel amp is powering a pair of JL Audio C1-690x (door speakers) and a pair of KICKER 51KSC2704 (dash speakers). My door and dash speakers are wired in parallel so they are sharing the same channel on the amp. Great sound quality. Using this setup to help with my music production. Cant wait to add a sub to this system.

Solidly built amp, high quality output, good features

Surprisingly outstanding amplifier, exceeds expectations significantly. Output is very clear and free of color, does not seem to introduce any unwanted noise. Doesn't require any alteration of the audio with bass/treble or equalizer. Built-in line output converter works well and excellent feature, eliminates the need for an external processor to turn on the amp (also means no concern about noise introduced through the RCA cables, or loose cables between audio processor and amp). The amplifier is very high, but in this case it feels like a sign of quality and durability. The connections are all very robust-feeling with large screws for the audio outputs and power terminals. All of the switches onboard have a solid feeling and click into a positive position for controls like the onboard crossovers and line output converter selection. Everything about the amp feels very well designed and solidly built. Mostly satisfied with the power and output of the amplifier. The amp is rated for a relatively conservative 50 watts x 2 speakers at 4 ohms, but even with that relatively low power, it produces volume more than loud enough to complete destroy your hearing if you turn up your input volume the entire way (didn't bother testing SPL since I don't listen to audio for ear exploding noise). More importantly the audio is very clear and distortion free, even when cranked up to high'ish volume levels. A+ amplifier with no complaints after several months of use

Powerful little amp

It's a good amp for adding bass to a family car. It is better for smaller subs like 8 or 10 inch. Not enough power for the P1 as the p1 does 250rms and this amp only does 200rms bridged

Not for motorcycle.

I'm sure it's a good product but it's too big for the front fairing of a motorcycle.

Rockford Fosgate R2-200X2

I was able to install this amp relatively easily. I had one wiring question and their tech support got back to me with the answer in 20 minutes. It sounds great.
