Tight, balanced bass

These fit perfectly in the useless little cubby in the very back of my sedan trunk. Pushing some of the trim out of the way, it fits like a glove and preserves most of the useable trunk space. Paired with cabin speakers driven to 65W, these have punch but provide incredibly tight and balanced bass that's not overwhelming the other frequencies. For me, putting a LPF at ~100Hz let it drive some mid-bass but still give that omnidirectional feel. As someone looking for significant but tight, accurate bass, these were perfect. My only small gripe is that the remote bass knob says it goes up to +18 dB but I feel like there's no change until about halfway up the dial.

Terrible

Blew in 10 minutes just like my kickers. these brands are overrated by bass snobs who don't mind spending money over and over. these trash speakers make me want to get out of the bass game permanently

Great set of subs

Sounds amazing! Good crisp, hard bass. Took some time to tune it just right with the amp, 5 channel Kenwood, 500w RMS for the sub. Very happy with the purchase.

Rockford Fosgate Prime R2-2X10

Decent, but this box takes some effort to be musical. Lots of resonance and lack of smooth bass out of the box. Driving mine with an R2-500X1 and it's almost perfect power. Had to line the interior of the box with polyfill (literally used a standard sized pillow) to deaden to resonance of the box and create smooth low bass. Really all it would do without that was hit. Musically it sucked. Long into short, you can make this work if you put the effort in. It's not plug and play exceptional sound quality. But with some fine tuning, this box can sound great! It met my expectations and I have a full Rockford system running and it's amazing. Ford Fusion with Punch 5x7 P1572's in the doors driven by a R2-300X4 and now the R2-2x10 box driven by a R2-500X1 and a T-Spec 1.5 farad capacitor. More than enough for my needs.

Perfect for me

Surprised, because when I took it out of the packing box..looked small and thought I'd made a mistake. These hit hard and lows are great for my listening. Coupled with the 500 mono, it's a no brainer. Love them.

It'll thump

Paired with RF 500 watt mono amp. Pretty happy with the results. Set the crossover at 100 Hertz, but I don't know if it's going to stay there.

Great Bass!

Great if you want to add some powerful bass to your car, Mine fits well In my 2011 ford mustang, its very loud even though its in the trunk. Highly recommend!
