Perfect match to my Rockford Fosgate dual 10" 2ohm sub. Just when you think the volume is going to start distorting the speakers it keeps going and will put a smile on your face. Very impressed. I cannot imagine anyone needing anymore than this, and this is connected to a junk factory stereo in a 2019 GMC acadia. I have been using Rockford Fosgate since the 1990's and have been never disappointed. And pair that with Crutchfield's ultimate customer service and lighting fast shipping.

My old Rockford Fosgate R500X1D went out after 8 years of faithful service. It took my subwoofer with it, and a fuse for good measure. Based on the specs, this model seems to have better protections than the older model so that if it goes out, it won't damage other parts of my system. Otherwise, it was basically a drop-in replacement. I appreciate that the manufacturer QC's each unit and includes the QC report and measured power rating, which is generously over the advertised rating. Happy to be rocking in my car again!

Paper weight 3 months after warranty

Worked great until 3 months after warranty expired. Then the "protection" started kicking on at low volumes. Sometimes it will play for about 10 minutes then start shutting off again. I have two Hiphonics amps that I have pushed hard for over 10 years without a problem. I expected more from my favorite amp designer.

Little monster of an amp

I have mine running my p3 12 at 1ohm and it doesnt over heat shut off or have any issues. I can't believe how hard it pushes my p3. This little amp packs a ton of power and is worth every penny. Bonus it comes with a bass knob

Great little amp. Hooked it up to to an older P3 shallow 10"(300rms/600peak) that I had from an older build and put it in my new truck. Running it at 4ohm and have the gain set less than 1/4 from the lowest. This little amp would easily push 2 of these speakers at 4ohm and probably a couple of 12" at 2ohm. High level inputs made it easy to integrate to my factory system. Amp is very small but doesn't seem to get hot. Very impressed with how good this thing is at the price point it is at.

Great Amp!

Very impressed with this amp! Paired with a D4ohm Kicker CompR (wired to 2ohm) in a small sealed enclosure. This amp packs a punch, test paper stated @2ohm load-614watts, more than expected.

Everything works and sounds great except the remote level control. You don't hear a difference until the very last quarter turn so it's pointless.

Great features and value!

500 Watts clean power! It does what it says it's going to do, and does so without complaint or issue. The infra-sonic (high-pass) filter really helped clean up the lower bass register and even damped some of the resonance in the body trim panels! The CLEAN sensors were a nice touch. The gain on this thing is pretty touchy, but in my experience that's usually an indication of quality components. Overall, I'm pleased as punch! The ONLY thing that could have perhaps been improved was including a second set of mounting screws that were just a little longer (the ones in the kit are very shallow) - but that's splitting hairs and hardly necessary to enjoy this thing!

Small amplifier but pack a lot of power. I have this amp on 2 10 inch punch subs and let me tell you. The entire car shake. The amp doesn't get hot no matter how long or loud. The certificate for my amp said it will do 637 watts

Great for my use.

I love this amp. I use it to power a single 10", 4 Ohm, 270 RMS JL Sub. I don't miss notes and it definitely slaps. I also love the bass boost knob because I find myself adjusting the gain depending on the song.

Looks nice at a good price. Although I don't get very much bass without the clipping light coming on. My sub is 700w rms so I'm not sure what the issue could be. The amp was easy to wire up and the remote knob is great.

I've had this amp in my truck for about 3 weeks. It's powering 1 10 inch Rockford Fosgate r2d2 wired at a 4 ohm load. I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit disappointed with the amount of bass. My gain is set rather low, but the clipping light still comes on during hard hits. I think I need to get a subwoofer that can handle the full 600 watts rms before I full judge the bass output. Other than that, it is a great looking amp, reasonably priced, and I think if I use all the power of the amp I will be much happier with it.

I purchased this amp to run a Rockford Fosgate Prime R1-2X10 speaker box. It is a perfect match, and has more than enough power for what I needed. Affordable amp packed with condensed Fosgate power with no strain on the unit itself. Bought (2) R2-500x1 for my (4) subs and I can barely turn the gain up 1/4 way. King of the Punch

This amp is perfect for an everyday or novice audio enthusiast. I had two Rockford Fosgate P1's and this was the solution. Old amp was under powered, this amp solved that and makes them move and sound great. The Clean I.N and Clean O.U.T is a great feature so you are getting clean power at whatever volume. The punch and gain adjustments allow you to fine tune exactly how you listen to bass, whether you want more punch or more boom. If you need 500 watts this is the way to go.
