Works in Xtterra with OEM power amp.

Installed yesterday worked great in my 2005 Xtterra. Replaced OEM Radio with JVC unit the converter installed between the JVC and the Rockford Fosgate amp under passenger seat.

Perfect for a basic, simple LOC. Great buy.

Excellent. I'll be honest, I'm not a Fosgate fan, at least not since their old school Punch stuff. It's just not the same quality anymore. But with that being said, this LOC works beautifully. I'll later upgrade to a PAC or Audiocontrol LOC so I can boost the output voltage. But really, for a basic simple loc, this one is great. 5 stars! As always, arrived quickly, Crutchfield is top notch!

It works pretty good.

Bought this to install an aftermarket amplifier in a 2018 Silverado double cab. Unfortunately, you have to use the universal option while updating the firmware on the website. There is no specific firmware for the 2018 Silverado. It still works but it doesn't have the features available that you could use if it was specific to the vehicle.

A Larger Gauge Wire Would be Nice

It was the only option, and it works fine, but the wire gauge on the harness could not have been more constricting! So when you splice this into the factory OEM head unit wires to grab their output signal, this unit's wires ARE EVEN SMALLER than the OEM factory wires! The RCA outputs run to the amplifier, and the amplfier wires run back to the OEM factory speaker wires. So this is a bit of a constraint before the amplifier.

Works perfectly

The right choice

It is a little big to put behind the factory stereo, at least for the subaru i put it in. But its rockford rosgate always a great option!

Very good product. Easy to install. When cutting the car stereo wires, make sure there is enough length on both ends of the wires. I recommend this product.

got this to hook up factory stereo with 5 channel amp for new speakers and sub. worked very well. ran jumper from rear speakers to sub, adjust gain, adjust fade works very well. would recommend this as a very cheap and easy way to amp your factory radio

Great product

This product was great. It was used to replace a cheap converter bought at walmart that produced a annlying gain tone. The ground cable and insulation took that tone away.

Does what it needs to do.

I used this to connect a scion factory HU to a Kenwood 5 channel amp. Combining this with properly tuned gain settings on the amp, there is absolutely no distortion with the HU at max volume. I can't keep it there for long, though, for fear of hemorrhaged ears. The separate harness makes it easy to splice into the factory lines for a butterfingers like me. My only gripe is that the output levels are not adjustable. I learned the hard way that my head unit outputs the rear channels at a much lower voltage than the front - something that I was fortunately able to compensate for using the amp gain switches.
