2000 Jeep Wrangler Upgrade

Crisp and loud when paired with my Sony DSX-GS80 receiver. I purchased two pairs of these, one pair for the dash and one pair for the roll bar of my 2000 Jeep Wrangler TJ. The front speakers required an adapter plate to convert over from the factory 4x6" setup. Also required a bit of minor cutting on some brackets within the dash corner speaker housings, but I was able to make quick work of it. All in all, great sound and crystal clear when driving with the top off going 60mph. Not a lot of low end, but they're 5.25" speakers after all. These things get loud when given enough juice to power them adequately, and maintain crystal clarity while doing so. Highly recommended!

Will not work with Jeep Wrangler TJ with front speaker conversion

Great speaker, but is extremely thick and would not work for my configuration. I have a Jeep Wrangler TJ Unlimited and did the 5.25" speaker conversion using the speaker conversion mounting brackets, for the front speakers. Since this speaker is extremely thick, it will not fit between the mounting location and the dash. Wish they would have fit!

These sound amazing, extra tweeter very cool! Mounted these in the sound bar of the Jeep. The speakers are directly behind my head while driving so the quality has to be there or you'll hear it.

I replaced Jeep TJ factory sound bar speakers with them. I'm happy with the sound improvement. I use a medium quality head unit, it didn't get louder but the quality of the sound is very good.

They are a very good Product. The only thing I don't like is they will distort if you cut the volume up passed 30. But overall great product. Has ALOT of bass for such small speakers. Would recommend for a jeep.

I replaced my previous pioneer 5 1/4 with these . and the difference is night and day. I finally have a lot of umphh in my music. The base comes thru clearly as well as my highs. You must use the speaker brackets cause they will not fit with the enclosures.

Cons: Needed to grind the metal bracket just a bit. So when the speaker vibrates the rubber doesn't touch it.
