Just what I needed!

My old cable was just wore out after probably a decade or more of use. The right or left channels would go out and my music would sound terrible. This new cable did the trick. Fast shipping and incredible customer service from Kim had me fixed up in no time!

USA Spec CBP-85A iPod Cable

CBP-85A is a better design, the bulky round end has been moved to the end that plugs into the unit. My existing cable had it on the ipod end and it got crush rendering the cable useless. Plugged it in and got my tunes back

Works Great

I purchased this cable to replace the old one on my daughter's 2007 Honda Fit with an older USA Spec PA-12 HON2Y radio to iPhone interface. The old one had quit working. This cable was shown to be a new replacement for that cable. We installed it and it worked great with my daughter's iPhone 4S. Then she upgraded to an iPhone 5S and several non-Apple 30 pin to Lightning adapters did not work. I contacted USA Spec Support. They said they had not tested the older PA-12 but the CBP-85 worked with the newer PA-15 with an Apple supplied 30 pin to Lightning adapter. We purchased the adapter and it works with this cable perfectly. Kudos to USA Spec Support folks as well as kudos to USA Spec for making a great cable.

Perfect Replacement Cable!!

Needed a cable to replace the one that came with my iPod adapter I bought here 7 years ago, as it eventually became worn out at the base of the plug. This one worked perfectly and they sent me the instructions again on how to remove the dash panels to gain access behind the radio to hide the cable. Top notch service and product, as usual!!

Bought my USA Sped iPod player back in 2008 and with the newer iPods and iPhones it would not charge my devices. I purchased the USA Spec CBP-85 IPod Cable and all device now charge. Works great

Direct replacement

Installed a USA SPEC PA11-HON2y IPOD to Honda car stereo interface in a 2003 Honda Accord several years ago. The connection cable to the IPHONE got crushed, so I set out to purchase a replacement CB-PA15 cable as identified in the original installation manual (pays to keep your manuals). Crutchfield correctly identified that there is no longer a -15 cable, but the -85 is now the correct cable. Ordered it, plugged it in, and worked perfectly. Could not ask for more. Also, being a Virginia resident, UPS delivered it the next day.

Charging not functional w/ PA11-HON2y

Bought it to replace damaged cable on an older PA11-HON2y unit. Playback works ok, charging not functional w/ iphone3g/ipod video/ipod nano. Crutchfield sent me an exchange in case the the first cable was bad, 2nd cable was same result. Great support from Crutchfield.

Charges though different from photo

A great upgrade to our USA Spec device. Charges and plays music, all I need. The picture is incorrect in that it is in reality a one piece unit and not white but black. Awesome product and at a better price than anywhere I could find.

I ordered the USA Spec CBP-85 PA10, PA11, PA12 iPod Adapter Cable to replace my defective USA Spec PA11-Hon2y IPod IPhone Interface Cable. I'm very happy with quality of this product. Great Upgrade

Had to wait due to the backorder but it was worth the wait. Works great with the PA-11 for my Toyota Truck. Bought it to charge and use the new iPhone 4s. Works like a charm.

USA Spec CBP-85A iPod Cable

Had an older USA Spec IPod interface, but it would not charge my new nano. A quick look and found Crutchfield had a new cable, the CBP85, for my USA Spec interface...and for only $20. After ordering, I got it quick and it was a simple cable swap. Sure enough, the nano charges and plays just as designed. Oh yeah, I accidentally ordered the wrong cable at first (USA Spec makes two different ones for their many interfaces). It was my goof, but Crutchfield actually sent me the correct cable prior to me sending back the original...without charge! The gal I spoke with who set up the return was very helpful and prompt. Great service, thanks, Crutchfield!

Great product!

I have a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe and have been using the PA-11 iPod adapter with my nano. When I got the new iPod Touch 4G I could only control the music from the car stereo and my iPod wouldn't charge. With this new cable it does both! With a minor tweak to the dip switches (1-ON, 2-OFF) my iPod now charges, the factory radio controls the music from the dash and the steering controls, and I have full use of the iPod too. Thanks to Joe from USA Spec for the help!

Works great with PA11-NIS

I have had the PA11-NIS for my '99 Nissan Maxima for a few years now. It does not charge my iPhone 3GS so I was thrilled to discover that an updated cable was available. After reading one review that said this cable didn't work on their PA11-NIS, I decided to try it anyway. I'm pleased to report that this cable works great and now my iPhone charges while I'm playing audio direct through my car audio system. I do get the "This accessory may not work with your iPhone" message which requires pressing "Dismiss" each time, however.

doesn't fit iPhone 4 with bumper

Very disappointed with this cable. It works, but I have to remove the bumper to mate the connector with the iPhone 4. This is very inconvenient and will wear out the bumper quickly.

Works well with PA11-HON2

Charges and changes tracks on iPod/iPhone through both stereo and steering wheel audio controls. I got this as a replacement cable since the original cable that came with my unit does not charge my iPhone 3GS. A few caveats: - Always pops up the same "This accessory is not designed for use with iPhone, do you want to use Airplane Mode?" warning when plugged in. It works fine once the warning is cleared, just an annoyance. -Doesn't seem to send audio to the stereo if headphones are plugged in, so you can't use a wired headset with it. Won't be a problem for most users, just something I've noticed.

Works but...

I just bought this cable to be able to charge my Ipod Touch AND play music. Unfortunately I also upgraded my Touch to the new Firmware version 3.0. Now I get a charged Touch, but it will not play music. My older Ipod Video still plays and charges at least.

Doesn't work with USA Spec PA11 NIS

First of all, I bought this from the Canada site. I couldn't find a way to post this on Canada site. I have IPhone 3G version 2.1. I also tried it with version 2.0. I can't even play the songs, not need to mention charging. The original cable I got with USA Spec PA11 NIS, can play the songs but doesn't charge.

replacement cable works!

For christmas, ordered the USA-SPEC iPod Kit for a 2001 BMW 525i and a 2001 Honda CRV. I was disappointed to learn that the cables it came with didn't charge newer iPods (nano, touch, iphone), especially since I was planning to drive cross country. Although it's expensive to retrofit each car with this cable, it works great.

The cord works perfect for the iphone 3G. It CHARGES and PLAY's music via the iphone 3G. Very easy to install took 20 mins for both my cars 2005 Honda CRV and Accord (sedan).
