Overall excellent and outstanding performing soundbar

This is an excellent and outstanding performing soundbar. Hookup for me was very easy as I disconnected the HDMI and power cables from my old soundbar and connected them to the Klipsch. It was working perfectly and with the cable remote as well (Spectrum) I tried the music channels on my cable network and was more than satisfied with the bass and highs of the soundbar. The bass was mare than enough for my listening pleasure as the two 4 inch woofers provided enough bass for and was clear and distinct. The highs were likewise sharp and steady. Next I tried some news, movies and sports and the voices were very clear. This was without the boost that is available. To sum this up I don't think tahe anyone can go wrong and not be satisfied with the purchase of this soundbar. Hats off to Klipsch and Onkyo for a very, very good product.

Good sound, abysmal connectivity and control

The sound bar itself is actually pretty good, but connectivity issues with the remote and (in my case) the iOS Connect Plus app have really diminished my enjoyment of this product. I mean, jeez, it's not like Bluetooth is some new, cutting-edge technology. Connecting to the device using the remote or the app works so rarely and sporadically, I have just stopped using them. It isn't worth the hassle of going through the re-connection procedure just to change a setting. And, since not every setting is available through the controls on the device itself, I'm unable to access all of the features of the device. This situation is so lame and frustrating, in fact, that I have knocked another star off my rating while writing this. Would I buy this unit again, knowing what I now know about it? Probably not. I didn't do my homework, and instead chose to rely on my decades-old positive experiences with the Klipsch brand. My bad.

This is one great sound bar. It replaced a smaller unit, and the difference was well worth the cost. This is a solid well-made unit, and it is heavy due to the construction of the box. Speakers sound great and fill the living room with great sound. I had Klipsch speakers years ago with a sound system and they always were great also.

Crystal clear sound

Looks great, sound is amazing. For the size of the speakers and subwoofers the range of sound is pretty incredible. Doesn't have to be paired with a subwoofer but I'm sure it couldn't hurt.

Great Sound

Just received my Flexus Core 200 hookup was easy also hooked up my Klipsch KSW 12 Sub vis LFE Output watched Top Gun Maverick and my first impression was for 400 bucks this Soundbar does not disappoint at all I ran tgrough some minor adjustments set the volume at 32 and wow this unit absolutely does what it's advertised to achieve it filled the room with undistorted great sound period I would recommend this product to anyone I feel it's that good for the buck! I just toredown my home theater Yamaha 7.1 all Klipsch Reference speakers all the way around you know how good that sounded but to step down to this it was not lacking even my wife was impressed on the sound quality! Great Job Klipsch and Onkyo!

The sound is really good. Bass is actually surprising considering the size of the sound bar. Surround with the up firing speakers really works. My wife had a hard time hearing some voices. With the dialogue boost she can hear all the voices now. Easily surpassing the TV's speakers, a very good investment.

Great product value from Klipsch!

Great value on this one. I had purchased a high-end soundbar costing more than twice what the Klipsch cost and it had issues with the DSP producing audible distortion. Switching out cables at the suggestion of the (very helpful - as always!) Crutchfield tech support guy several times did not resolve issue so decided to send back. I just had a feeling like the issue was going to repeat if I replaced with another of the same so decided to go for a different brand. The Klipsch got some good reviews and while not quite as "cool" looking as the previous bar, it has really impressed me with the sound quality so far. I would say there is no audible compromise spending less than half the price. I'm a bona fide (for better or worse) audiophile so sound quality is huge for me. My main speakers are MartinLogan ESL Classic 11's which are of course amazing. I don't feel like I'm compromising a thing for audio with TV with the Klipsch. Granted, my primary need is for just clear dialogue and decent sound/effects. If you're looking at a soundbar for up to $1,000, seriously consider this one and save some money. Sounds great and even has the sub output which is mandatory for me! Great product, Klipsch!

Simple and quick set-up. Great sound, slim profile, and my wife understands all dialog now (hearing issues) while I enjoy the much better fidelity of this system. Other benefits include bluetooth and atmos which I'll enjoy fully when I replace my 12 year old 65" with a new 4k unit in the near future.

Very satisfied with this purchase!! Arrived in sturdy and protective packaging. Easy to install. Beautiful look and finish. Married seamlessly via hardwire to my existing Klipsch Subwoofer. The App works great, as does the remote control, and with an HDMI connection I can use my Vizio remote for volume control. And the sound is AMAZING!!! The opening scene to Saving Private Ryan sounded like the rounds were coming at me, and David Gilmour Live at Pompei was pure ear candy!!! Much better than the Yamaha it replaced. Buy this soundbar...you won't regret it.

TV Volume Improved

Very Good Buy

This was the first soundbar that we ever had. So, I wasn't sure what to expect. Definitely superior to the TV speakers. For our needs, the bass response is more than adequate. May add the surrounds at a later date. There was an issue with the initial setup. Turned out the Klipsch supplied HDMI cable was faulty. Crutchfield had another cable delivered to me the next day. Great service.

Great sounds and integration

I've gone thru a small number of sound bars to work with our Sony flat screen and this is # 3! First was a Polk... that worked OK but had weird noise behavior when off. #2 was a Sony bar w/ wireless subwoofer. I thought initially that was fine because the integration w/ the flat screen seemed seemless but finally got tired of the less than filling sound (bar speakers sounded a bit weak even though the stage presence was OK at high enough volumes). This Flexus CORE is probably "it" for us. The integration with the flat screen is perfect (nothing to complain about). Sound stage is great (but at high enough volume. Lower volume is only a minor improvement over the panel speakers IMO). The bass is barely adequate... may go for a wireless sub to add later... but the CORE bar is just fine for us. Am glad I got the 200 model. The 100 though cheaper will most likely be not satisfying at all.

Get it, you will not regret

Open, dynamic sound that fills a room, especially with atmos content. Sounds fantastic by itself, many would be satisfied with the bass this bar produces. But,I am a bass head and went with the RSL speedwoofer 10e at$299. And this pair is amazing for a great price. Highly recommended!

Amazing value and sound

Super solid soundbar, especially if you catch it on sale. Very loud and good base although I have a Jamo S808 sub wired and its perfect and offers great flexibility. The only critique is that the height channels are not super loud but my space also has 9ft ceilings and there is no HDMI pass-through but otherwise, has been great for both movies and music. CEC works perfectly where my Apple TV will wake the bar and the TV and switch the inputs automatically so no need to go through settings or a need for built in streaming capabilities. Definitely recommend at full price but especially if you can catch it on sale.

Clean, Accurate Sound!

WOW!! This thing was way bigger and heavier than I thought it would be, but I didn't buy it for size or weight, I bought it for SOUND and it tops the chart with clean, accurate sound at any volume you set it at. Delivered as promised in quality packaging. Easy hookup. Sound is amazing. Plenty of bass. My living room is small so I don't need a sub woofer. I am getting older so dialogue is more difficult to understand. This sound bar has dialogue enhancement which helps considerably.

Excellent Sound

Excellent sound. With this soundbar there is no need for an additional subwoofer box as there is adequate lower end. Originally I tried the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) but the sound on the Sonos was thin. So for my ears this Klipsch is the much better choice.

Terrible sound and worst install process, APP terrible

Plugged this device in, worked via the HDMIeARC and the TV remote for sound volume and muting, the app however is another story, it's awful. Of course, all settings are controlled via the app, which will not work despite several uninstalls and reinstalls. I really expected better from this device and from Crutchfield. The sound out of this device sounds like it's in a closet and that's why I wanted to adjust the sound settings, but to no avail since the app does not load at all. Called Crutchfield support and no help, other than to say I can return it, which I am doing (another level of aggravation). The manual with this device is written by someone who might be a genius, but has no clue how to help a new user set this sound bar up. I am very, very disappointed in Klipsch and Crutchfield, really a shame it came to this level of aggravation for me, should not be this way.

huge sound, crisp and clean. Totally satisfied. only nit: manual does not include details, like what the different connections actually provide. (optical does not provide tv remote control of soundbar) and other details that it should. beyond that, very audibly astute.

I have a Sony xbr65x900f tv and an Apple TV I keep my sound bar off all the time when not in use. When I turn my tv off the sound bar will come on the same thing happens with the Apple TV For me personally I find this very distracting I shouldn't have to turn the sound bar off when I never turned it on

Great audio. Reasonable bass and good clarity in the center channel. I went from TV speakers to this model. I do not like the sound the soundbar makes everytime it pairs if switching from Bluetooth headphones or from TV speakers. I really wish that could be disabled. I use headphones at night after my wife goes to bed so I switch back to the Klipsch in the morning for both of us and it produces that loud high pitch shrill tone. Can the firmware be updated? Which version of Bluetooth does it use. Some noticable lag in the sound. Fortunately I left the optical cable connected on the TV so I connected and switched over to optical. Sound quality is fuller and clearer and when switching back and forth between the headphones and optical speaker. No shrill tones.

Better than advertised!

Better than expected with its 9 speakers! Kudos to Colin M. who wrote about it and reviewed in recent magazine. Have a great surround sound, BUT missing center channel -- the enhanced dialogue feature and Bass are impressive. Thank you for your exemplary work!!

Great sound at a good price. The only hiccup was playing music this morning and when I returned from errands, I tried to watch the Olympics but couldn't. I had to move the source from music back to TV but I had no sound. The remedy is to turn off TV for a bit, then back on to move back to TV as the source. Still, a better experience than the Sonos Beam which was a pain to set up, mainly because the app isn't very friendly.

Superior Sound

This is a beastly sound bar. It is big and beefy. It is paired with with a powered wired Klipsch subwoofer and adds a lot more bass to it, but in a smaller room may not be needed. Very pleased!

Audiophile approved.

I wanted something that was much better than the TV speaker but I also wanted something with a very small footprint. The hard part is I have a 2 channel system with Wilson Audio speakers and a Pass labs amp, so I'm accustom to audiophile performance. I'm not going to say it sounds like my 2 channel system but I will say it's worth twice the price. I actually listen to music with this Klipsch soundbar and enjoy every minute! I'm shocked that it sounds this good!

Wow

A lot of bang for the buck. The sound is incredible for what you pay. I have a Bluesound soundbar in my living room that costs twice as much as the Klipsch, but doesn't come close in my opinion. Sounds great even before you add the sub. Simple to use app for your phone too.

True to my ears

Replaced my Definitive Technology soundbar with this. Right off the bat I knew I had a superior soundbar. I've been a Klipsch fan since the early 70's. The dialog is clear and present even in low mode. Thunderous bass from the subwoofer even at low volume. Highs are crisp and sharp. Am very pleased with this unit.

Awesome surround sound for a sound bar

This is the best sound bar I have found. I love the ability to upgrade the system but it still sounds terrific by itself. Dialog is important to me and my last sound bar overpowered dialog with the sound track and special effects. My next purchase will be the flexus 100 sub.

PERFECT for my Windows PC

Perfect, Using it on a Windows 11 PC... Did not come alive until I downloaded the Atmos Windows app from the Windows app store and then this baby came ALIVE Would easily purchase again if I needed too. Klipsch just does everything right.

A Good Soundbar for the Price

I received the Klipsch Flexus Core 200 a few days ago and so far so good. Nice slick design with wood metal and fabric. The app is okay although you will have to download the right one (Klipsch Connect Plus) which only works with the soundbar. I find myself using the remote more Instead of the app. Voice mode is decent but I feel a few tweaks can make it better may be a firmware update. Otherwise the sound is really good from movies to music and only for $500 considering most high-end soundbars today are over $1000.

Awesome!!! As expected!!!! I ordered thru Danny, told him what I was wanting in sound (wife loves The Voice), and, I purchased what he suggested.... could not have been more correct!!!! I LUV Klipsch!!!!! Can't WAIT... to increase my "Dream Sound"!!!!! I also purchased a Core Woofer 100. At first, I wasn't that impressed..., but, The Voice, and Movies, changed my mind...., Wish I'd gotten 2 Woofers, one, for each side of the room!!!! Absolutely, Positively...., Awesome!!!!! A Definite Must Try!!!!

Loving this soundbar!

This replaced an old RSB-11 and it was well worth the upgrade. This soundbar is eARC capable and works perfectly with my LG OLED TV. I purchased the Flexus sub the following day because I wanted some more bass. The product was extremely well boxed- reminded me of an Apple product. Lastly, my wife loves it.

Good sound. Doesn't like my Apple TV. Unknown reliability.

My room is 15x15 feet w/door. 8 foot ceiling. Sony X90CL TV, Apple TV 4K (2nd gen), Xfinity X1 cable box. Klipsch Flexus Core 200 soundbar and Klipsch Flexus Surr 100 surrounds. Now this can't beat larger speakers and a dedicated AVR, but it's still enjoyable. I like the Klipsch better than a Sonos Beam (Gen 1) that I have in another room (albeit a larger room, so not a fair comparison). I also think the Klipsch sounds better for music than a Sonos Five I keep in the bedroom. Listening to an old Stereophile test CD of demo material was a surprising treat considering this was coming from a sound bar. I've only had the soundbar itself for a week. Just now added the optional surrounds. Surround effects are great with the optional surround speakers; I don't really hear much surround effects when it is only the sound bar. I borrowed a Polk PSW111 subwoofer the other day and it improved the overall sound so much so that I will buy a subwoofer. Sound bar is hooked up via HDMI. It responds to my Xfinity remote's power on and volume controls reliably. My biggest concern is with my Apple TV. There's occasional distortion noise. Typically a short burst of static that I'll hear for a split second when I get done watching something and then go back to the Apple TV's home screen. Though, once it was long and drawn out distortion, but quieter, playing during the end credits of an Apple TV+ show. I wonder if this is caused by Dolby Atmos? Hope it doesn't get wo

Very impressed!

So far I love it! This is my first soundbar, transitioning from a AVR, by the wife. She loves it, good sound, wife loves the dialogue setting! I added a SVS PB1000, (i can only use it on special occasions), not necessary for news, podcasts... So far so good! very satisfied!

Fantastic sound

I just upgrades from a Yamaha YSP-1600 and this blows it away. The Klipse has an RCA jack so I can continue to use my existing subwoofer but it sounds good without it. Just dont expect thunderous explosions without a sub. The Dialog is very clear and the surround sounds are wonderful. You can hear the rustling of the grass and head the dialog when the actors mumble. Playing music through it was a surprise how good it sounds. I plan to add the wireless surrounds.
