Works as intended. If you have an OEM antenna that works for Sirius XM and the NAV and installing an aftermarket radio with NAV and you wanf to keep Sirius XM without the app, you will need to order a fakra splitter for them to both work off the old antenna.

Despite the Crutchfield database saying this isn't compatible it worked for connecting my 2012 Nissan Sentra's factory GPS antenna to my JVC receiver. This vehicle had the factory Bosch 5" navigation.

2007 Trailblazer SS GPS adapter.
Mary Hixson from Athens, TN on 11/9/2023
2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
So, I bought this so that I could use the existing "sharkfin" antenna on my 2007 Trailblazer SS (1SS package, no navigation, but with Bose sound and OnStar) with the Kenwood nav head unit (DNX697S) that I installed. Just FYI for anyone else who might be interested, the GPS/cellular module is under the passenger side rear seat, under a black plastic cover. Pop it loose, you'll see a silver metal box, with what looks like 2 different "antenna" connections. One is gonna be the "cellular" cable, which is the big coax looking cable. The smaller cable with the Fakra connection is what this adapter is for, GPS. This is what you need to do: get an extension cable to connect into the female end coming from the sharkfin (Fakra Z female to male, pick your length, Bingfu brand, Amazon). Connect at the box, where it comes from under the carpet. Run the extension up to the head unit. Connect this adapter to the head unit end. Plug the "square looking end" of the adapter into your Kenwood GPS connection on the back. Now, as of this review, it does appear to work as I had hoped, without adding another doodad on the dash or windshield. If, in the future, it appears to screw with the OnStar crap, I did also purchase a splitter so I could reconnect it, and have both, although I haven't used OnStar for YEARS. I know that others will have different applications, but this worked exactly for what my plans were. Oh, and Crutchfield shipped super quick!
Pros: Easy adaptation from factory GPS connection to Kenwood.
Cons: Nothing. Worked as intended!

2008 Jeep Commander, Maestro GPS Adapter.
Craig from Land O Lakes, FL on 1/7/2023
2008 Jeep Commander
First time using a Maestro Rr2, have to say I'm pretty darned impressed. I had ordered the wrong adapter. Thinking that the ANT-SAT1 was the GPS antenna adapter, nope it's actually the SiriusXM antenna adaptor. Quick call, to the all knowing Crutchfield folks and in less than 5 minutes we had the correct adapter in my cart. 2 days later, it was on my doorstep. Pulled out the Head Unit and two clicks later my Alpine was happy as a lark. I'm still curious why the Alpine iLX-509F needs the GPS signal for Apple's CarPlay to function. Think it would could pull what it needed from the iPhone? But the fact is the Alpine balked when I tried to fire up CarPlay, stating it had no GPS signal. Interesting. Fired right up, after giving it a GPS signal from the factory antenna. Super pleased, might have taken me hours to run and mount the Alpine supplied antenna? This $17 adapter saved me potentially hours of install time. Bottom line, iDatalink and Crutchfield are both, best in class organizations. I'd give them 10 stars, if I could!
Pros: Build quality Hours saved in installation
Cons: None!

OEM to Kenwood...
Crutchfield customer from Sacramento, CA on 10/5/2020
Worked as expected... Why on earth would Kenwood use a proprietary connector on something that is so industry standard... I would not be surprised if Kenwood has a stake in this little jewel!
Pros: iDatalink
Cons: Kenwood

Was not the correct adapter for my car. It says Kenwood and Alpine but I bought a Pioneer. Called tech support and they shipped out the NAV2 for me to use. The NAV2 fit properly but when I turned on the car, the receiver failed to locate GPS. I went online and it looks like in Jeep Wrangers (not sure if it's all jeeps) the GPS and Satellite Radio are together so maybe that caused the issue. Ended up using the pioneer GPS antennas
