2016 Dodge Challenger
Did not work for my application. I did exactly what several other reviewers mentioned, clipped off the 18 pin for the dsr-1 and routed those to my LC2i, which fed signal into a 2-channel Pioneer for the front components. Exactly what many other people have used, as a T harness of sorts. Instead of giving my components some juice, it fried my Challenger headunit. I heatwrapped/bundled every lead I didn't use, no loose wires or anything, Tessa-taped the harness up before I installed it, no idea what happened but I know Maestro customer service denied the "universal application" paragraph where it outlines the process I did, they said this harness is only for the DSR-1 and any other application would void any warranty. Classy people

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Used this to put an amp and aftermarket speakers into my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the factory head unit. This along with the the DSR1 really made it a clean install. The only headache is the factory instructions for the wiring harness don't really show how it connects to the can bus very clearly. Thankfully, Crutchfield customer support was able to take care of this with a call to tech support on a Sunday! This is why I buy from Crutchfield. The best customer and tech support you can get.

I bought this harness to avoid cutting the factory wires to install an AudioControl DM-608 DSP into my 2015 Ram 1500 Sport with the Uconnect 8.4AN factory radio. In order to connect a DSP or line driver to the harness, you will need to cut the bigger harness plug off that goes to the DSR-1, cap the unused wires, and connect your speaker wire. I had zero issues with door chimes or any other factory audible alerts. If you're looking to add a line driver or DSP to your factory radio and do not want to cut the factory wires, this harness is for you!

The product works great. I will warn that some of the connectors come plugged in by default, may need to be switched depending on your vehicle. If you need to connect the data cable you are looking for the bus bar that is green with white connectors in between the steering column and the drivers kick panel.

2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 5inch Uconnect 6 speaker without NAV. This works perfectly for my LC7i and it will plug right up to my DSR1 later. I'm glad to keep my factory harness intact.
Pros: No cutting factory harness.
Cons: Not very flexible so use your space wisely.

Harness works as described!!!!! Makes integration of a 2019 5th gen Ram w/DSR1 a breeze. Once factory radio reset and everything connected, I have a faint mechanical hum. See cons below
Pros: Simple intergration
Cons: A bit static in background after radio reset. Prior had DSR1 in universal fed from LC7i, radio untouched= crystal clear. Now, there is a faint mechanical noise, not alternator whine or sizzling gains, it is a faint mechanical sound. I will be resetting radio. I'll keep harness and go back to prior setup.

Pros: You can purchase the optional factory harness. Very Easy to install and setup if your with familiar with audio sound systems
Cons: The tuning software isn't that user friendly. Could be a lot simpler if you could have pre selected music curves.

First harness I had I lost my backup camera in a 2017 ram 1500 big horn with 8.4 Uconnect screen. It worked for a while but would than cut in and out due to a loose connection that I had narrowed down to this t-harness. I had ordered a new one and it fixed the problem.
Pros: When you get one that isn't faulty it works great.
Cons: My first harness had a loose connection which caused my back up camera to cut in and out unpredictably. New harness corrected this issue.

Works perfectly on a 2019 Rebel without a factory amp. Plugs right into a DSR-1 so you can connect external amp(s).

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I bought this hoping I could keep my stock speaker functionality and add a subwoofer amplifier, at least until I had the cash together to amplify the rest of the system. I found that it did not allow me to do that when I installed it, but I was able to modify the harness to keep my stock speakers for the time being. It is a well-made product and works exactly as advertised. I will be finishing my system this summer and will try to remember to update this review when I install the DSP and the amplifiers.
