Works as designed to reduce the guess work when augmenting your car audio system with additional amps and speakers. Not all cable ends get used so you need to determine which ones are applicable to your vehicle wiring harness. I did require some guidance from Crutchfield Tech Support for my 2017 Ford F250 but we worked through it successfully.

Connectors fit perfectly and made adding the DSR1 simple. The harness feels like a quality piece. The wiring diagram was ALMOST perfect but if you have car audio experience, you'll have no issues at all. Take your time and read the instructions COMPLETELY before doing anything with these parts and you'll be listening to music in no time. Thank you Crutchfield.

The product works well, but I wish the Crutchfield techs knew what they were talking about. And the instructions had me tearing apart the dash for absolutely no reason

It connects the components by simply changing plugins, making installation simple. The only thing that required crimping/soldering was speaker high level output from the amp the plug to use the factory speaker wiring.

Ford edge owners beware. This harness will do its job until you want a second amp. Tap into solid blue wire for 12v amp turn on, wire runs from harness connecting into amp and aR device.

Very good quality harness for installing the Rockford Fosgate DSR1 into my 2015 Ford F250 with the Sony system. The wiring and harnesses are all top notch quality and requires absolutely no splicing of the factory harness or wiring. Being that this is a bit of a universal harness for all Ford vehicles equipped with the Sony system, there were a few wires that were not needed. For example, the harness that connects to the stock speaker wires had two extra leads that my truck didn't need (probably for the rear center channel, which my truck doesn't have). It was pretty easy to unpin those from the harness so the install would look cleaner without all the extra unused wires. The same for the harness that had amp sub wires. I was able to unpin those without any special tools.

Pros: Completely splice free installation with stock wiring, plenty of wire length, quality components.

Cons: None whatsoever.

This wiring harness saves so much time. Everything is labeled and it fits in the OEM plugs. Also, pre-stripped. This is a must have.

Cons: Would be nice if the wires were a bit longer to accommodate some more wiggle room. they sell extensions for that, but more $$$.

Plugs felt like OEM and snapped together positively. Wires used to convert are pre-labeled but are not marked + or - (marked as a pair, rf speaker, LR speaker, sub, etc). Wires seemed a bit small put of the package but are actually the same size as the wires in the car. Wires are pre stripped too, which was a nice touch. Pull the insulation off, stick it in your amp, tighten down. Done
