Harness fits the car and with the rr2 has all of the features working. Swc, reverse camera, plus all the gauges and vehicle info as well! I also like that the radio can stay on while starting the car.

Pros: Keeps things working like they did plus more!

Wire harness takes a complicated connection and makes it very simple. My only issue was with finding the correct wire diagram for my car. I didn't realize the PDF file was 99+ pages and included every Hyundai and Kia model. Once you find the right car, the steps are simple.

Pros: Plug and play.

Cons: Finding the right vehicle wire connection.

I purchased the Crutchfield ReadyHarness service to have this thing prewired with my Alpine iLX-407 head unit. When my order arrived, the firmware programming was easy and a USB C cable was provided. The installation couldn't have been easier with the unplugging of my factory unit and using the factory harness to plug the Maestro and Alpine harness into. It was honestly the easiest install I've done. Some things to note: If your unit has iDataLink integration, you will be able to fine tune/tweak some options and features from the head unit. Otherwise, the RR-HK2 version has bluetooth connectivity, so you can change options on the fly if you need to. The DOWNSIDE: I kept my factory amplifier and I'm a bit bummed that I don't have granular control over my factory amp, but I can still shift the fade from front to back channels and left to right. Unfortunately the connection uses the two inputs from my front RCA line out (Head Unit) to manage all of the sound input to the factory amp. The downside is I have to bypass nearly all of my radio features (EQ, Effects, Surround) and just use the Bass and Treble slider. That's all I can do to tune the sound - Bass and Treble. If I use the head unit's features, the signal gets muddied to the factory amp.

Pros: Super Easy Installation and Configuration, allows for future expandability. Small size, and with the Crutchfield ReadyHarness service, there is nothing that I needed to do but plug stuff into the right spots.

Cons: Not every Maestro add-on is geared to work in a fully functional way. For example, the USB/AUX add on for some cars only allows for a USB Charger and no data transfer. I have to use the direct USB connection to my head unit for full features. No biggie, but disappointed that I can't use ALL of my car's factory components, which is supposed to be the point of the product and the various add-ons.

Very thoughtful product that makes it super easy to integrate iDatalink Maestro. A little expensive but for what it provides, its worth it.
