Great way to add a subwoofer without requiring wiring

I very much like this Tri-Band Wireless Receiver. This is actually the second one I have purchased for my second, soon-to-be-added subwoofer, which I guess is the best endorsement I can give. I understand these are no longer available (/low in stock) as SVS told me the chip it's built around is no longer available. If true, that's too bad.

Pros: Easy to install and pair. Works flawlessly. I have not noticed any delay in the wireless connection.

Cons: That it may no longer be available.

I've been using these wireless recievers for about 5 years and they have worked fantastically... as long as the sub is set to "always on", not "auto on". I'm not sure if it's the fault of the wireless receiver, the sub, or my Yamaha reciever, but when set to "auto on", the sub will not come on. I doubt there's much power consumption benefit to using auto on anyway, so it's no big deal to me. If you have an SVS sub, it's very convenient since they have a usb port built in. Now, why there isn't a wireless receiver already built in to their pro branded subs that have bluetooth, I don't know. That kinda seems like they only haven't done it to get more money out of you. Btw, I just want to praise Crutchfield for packing things well and having fast shipping. Would much rather give them money than other online retailers.

Pros: Easy to set up. It just works (this is what is worth the money). No discernable difference in sound quality.

Cons: Probably should be a built in feature of SVS subs that already have bluetooth built in. Doesn't feel like something that should cost as much as it does. I suspect there's a good profit margin on them.
