NOT TRUE 6.5 ACTUALLY 6.25 BUT...

2009 Acura TL
Honest, unbiased review here. These speakers are NOT 6.5 as stated they actually measure 6.25 in total circumference and as such if you are installing them into a true 6.5 space you will have problems. I installed them in an Acura TL 2009 in the front doors. They replaced older infinity references that I previously installed as one blew. When I purchased these Memphis Crutctfield offered me free speaker adapters and wiring harnesses with my purchase. These items totally saved me but more on that later. When I removed the old infinity's I had decided to just reuse the old speaker adapters but quickly found out the Memphis did not fit the 6.5 adapters. I took the speaker to the bench and measured it. It measured 6.25 across. So these will NOT fit into a true 6.5 space and will need modification. However, the adapters that Crutchfield sent with my order has the tabs for 6.25 speakers which 100% saved the day for me. Also it is worth noting that these Memphis do NOT come with a foam baking piece to cover the metal back. You will have to supply your own or not use them. I opted to not use them as the speaker set flush against the adapter and I had no rattle. The Memphis overall sound very very nice! Very clean, even & rich sound. They are running off the factory amp of my Acura which only supplies around 20 watts to the door speakers. But with an RMS of 30watts for the Memphis, the speakers really handle the lower power well and have a wonderful sound to them. Thanks Crutchfield!

I literally just ordered these installed in truck. Listening halfway and little faded to rear. With 2010 titan RF factory system one already blew wth. Specs said it was 10 watts RMS over factory speaker lasted 13 years. But this speaker died in minutes. Wow stay away from this junk.

2008 GMC Sierra
These speakers replaced a failed set of standard speaker and are an outstanding replacement compared to the "announcement speakers" GM put in originally. The highs and mids are great but bass could be a little bit stronger. The woofer material is treated paper and the terminal plate breaks easy when attaching a connector. The build quality corresponds to the lower price point of this set of speakers. Crutchfield's provided free brackets, cables and instructions and this made the replacement an easier job.
Pros: Much better sound the original speakers the car came with.
Cons: Bass could be a little bit stronger.

Bought these to replace the old stockers. Improved sound but could be a little cheaper. Also they werent a direct bolt in but thats on Crutchfield not the speakers. I had to drill two new wholes for each soeaker. I would recommend them.

Affordable replacement for worn out factory speakers. They don't have the best audio quality in the world, but they are decent. This is my first experience with Memphis audio products, and while I know they are on the cheaper side I also know that there are better sounding options available at the same price point. Bottom line is they are good enough, for now.

I bought some as a replacement for my front door speakers in my 2014 Ford Focus Hatchback, the overall installation was fairly straight forward and easy. The sound quality is pretty good, about an 8/10, but I'd argue the bass was a bit of a downgrade from the factory default speakers. I listen to a lot of music ranging from bassy-trap (like JuiceWrld for ex.), to old school metal and rock, so I will probably upgrade to some better ones, but it's not like there's no bass, just not as deep and qualitive as I was used to. That's the best way I can put it.

I bought a Honda Element from a friend who had upgraded the standard audio system with a JVC receiver with CD player, Bluetooth, satellite radio, etc. and Sony Xplod speakers. Despite that, there was no bass or channel separation from the speakers and the sound was muddy and weak. I put the bass up as far as it would go, and it still sounded feeble, so decided to try new speakers before replacing the main unit. These Memphis speakers were an easy install and it took about 20 minutes to change out all 4 in the doors. Now I have super clear audio with great bass and a much cleaner sound. My drives are a lot more fun now I have great speakers. Recommended highly.

Very good speakers for the price. My pioneer head unit drives these speakers pretty well. Did not like the scoche speaker adapters for the rear of 2010 subaru. I wish Crutchfields would have sent me the metras like for the front. I had to drill one hole for scoche adapter.But all in all they sound good and have good bass for what I want. Some people said they didn't have any bass. Clean highs for sure and I have memphis 3 ways up front. Very good sound.

I replaced the front door AC Delco speakers in 02 Silverado. To be honest, the Memphis Audio SRX62 are kick butt. I was pleasantly surprised, they sound great with great bass and twitter. I did not hook up my old tweeters. These are a great replacement. The added bracket to replace the original is a cheap fix. I appreciate Crutchfield adding this at no extra cost. I used my old seals and foam to help reduce/nulify the vibration you will get when the bracket is mounted up against the door metal framing. The added wiring harnesses fit perfectly with the stock connectors.

Upgraded my daughters factory speakers to these and she digs them a lot. They went in a '05 Jeep Liberty and fit perfectly with the additional brackets ( sold separately). For the money ( inexpensive) the sound is great. Crutchfield NEVER fails!

these sound a whole lot better than the broken infinity gold stock speakers that i replaced, gives great sound, i did still have to use the mounting brackets supplied even though i ordered what i thought what the same size and the old ones, but i didnt even need to drill anything, the instructions were helpful, i just removed old speakers plugged up new ones with the wiring i was supplied with and presto, i have nice bumpin music now :)

So far so good , only complaint i can think of is i wanted DIRECT factory replacement and these had to have 2 of 3 mount holes drilled . Not a big deal but, still. Some people might have problems with install.Just Saying.

2008 Honda Fit Sport
Good high frequency sound but hardly any bass with stock unit. Maybe with more power they would have more bass. Construction built very nice.

1995 Ford F Series
First of all I'm no audio expert. But needed to replace front door speakers in my 95 F-150 Eddie Bauer. All I have is a Kenwood audio unit which I also purchased from Crutchfield so no Amps or anything like that. Install was a snap with included harnesses and instructions. I know these are priced at lower end of spectrum but I expected better. These things crackle more than the stock 25 year old speakers in the back. I listen to mostly 80's 90's music and when my receiver is up to even half volume they sound terrible. Sounded better when I had one OEM speaker going on its way out. I've adjusted equalizer to get the best sound I could without the crackle which involved adjusting the fader 1/3 to the stock rear speakers and can't even use the bass boost setting from the Kenwood unit. Guess technically better than what I had at least on paper but I was going by others reviews when I chose these. Guess in my opinion spend the little extra for a better speaker. Would have liked to return these but don't feel like taking my doors apart again at this time so I'm stuck living with them for now. Maybe I just got a bad pair?

2013 Honda Civic LX
Better than stock but didn't wow me. Installed in the rear deck of a 2013 Honda Civic LX. Better highs and mids than the stock speakers, need to be pushed to come to life. If you want a lot of bass these are not the speakers for you. If you want a balanced sound then these are okay.
Pros: good highs and mids. comes to life with the volume cranked up
Cons: not a lot of bass Sound flat and thin at lower volumes

Great product! By far better than factory combined with 4x6" Memphis with a midrange deck. You can actually feel and hear the bass. Totally unexpected but we'll appreciated.

Replaced all 4 speakers in my 08 Chevy Silverado and sounds amazing. Speakers have great bass and sound great with stock stereo. Very pleased with my purchase. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone!

2011 Honda CRV
Replaced my stock Honda CR-V speakers. I should have done this when I bought the car, not 8 years later. Great sound even with stock head unit. Love them.

Waited a long time for these to get back in stock, the wait was worth it. I wasn't going full on over the top speaker up grade because I was keeping my stock radio and amp. The new SRX 62 did the old radio well!!! Very wide range of bass and treble with these 6.5 inch 2 way speakers
Pros: Fit the factory opening, great full sound.

I replaced the speakers in my 06' GMC with these, they sound great! Wish I would of done this earlier!
Pros: The Crutchfield experience was super! All the things I needed for an easy install, clear instructions. I'm very happy with the outcome. Everything was perfect, no need to contact the help desk, but if I did I'm sure it would be top notch, as everything else went great!
