You Get What You Pay For

I added this center channel speaker to my existing B&O Beolab 17's, 18's and 19 home theater setup to heighten audio and video dialog clarity - and it did not disappoint. Extremely well built and esthetically elegant, I wall-mounted this speaker beneath my short throw projector's screen; it is truly a visual and audible compliment to my system. If you are looking for a center channel speaker with a minimalistic footprint and exceptional performance, this KEF T301C will not dissapoint!

Nice speaker

Sound that comes from this small thin center channel is phenomenal. Well worth the the money. I used it with a frame tv so needed the small package that it's in.

Thin is Fine
Mike from BERNARDSVILLE, NJ on 10/23/2023
I have several KEF flat-style speakers across 3 distinct home theater operations in my 2 homes. Guess what..THEY ARE GREAT SOUNDING SPEAKERS. Do you know how many times I have heard, "The speaker enclosure is too thin. You can't move enough air volume to get the punch you need from great sounding speakers." Or words very similar to these. Don't believe any of it. As long as the drivers can rapidly move the cones, as well as quickly adjust the speed of cone response over the entire human listening range (20hz - 20,000hz), then you will have a great sounding speaker system.
Pros: Great sound, dialog.

T301c center channel
Casey from Bend, OR on 9/4/2023
Wow, just blown away by the sound this center speaker produces. I'm pairing this with a set of kef Q350 bookshelf speakers my space was limited for my center channel so didn't know if this would fulfill what sound the Q 350s produce but again wow. The T301c not only matched great but the depth of sound clarity as well as the low frequencies were present. If you are limited on space or simply just want a flat wall mounted speaker I would definitely recommend this speaker or the T series in general.
Pros: Sound quality from such a flat design.
Cons: None to speak of.

KEF T301C
John from Linton, IN on 6/10/2022
Replaced Bowers & Wilkins HTM62 center with KEF T301C (see my T301 review for overall thoughts). I paired this center with KEF T301 L/R speakers connected to Denon AVR-S750H, Velodyne DLS-R sub and Polk rears. The KEF T301C is outstanding. Dialog is crisper/cleaner than what I've heard for several years. The speakers came very well packaged and set up was easy-peasy. Contrary to several comments I read, the center speaker stand attached easily and supports the speaker very well. I'm very happy with the looks and sound of the T301C and gladly recommend it.

Same as the T301s but sideways. Personally I like the asymmetric logo but I can see it not being for everyone. Don't forget your sub with these and you'll be very happy

Awesome sound for a speaker this thin but then again, it is KEF. Not crazy about the unbalanced look with the logo on the left and wish it had a removable grill.

Excellent on the wall not as excellent on the ears
Crutchfield customer from Pittsburgh, PA on 2/18/2019
I love the look and the quality of the KEF. When mounted under my tv on the wall above the fireplace, its thon profile allows that the mantle can still be used. So from that respect it is perfect. But it replaces my Definitive Technology cented speaker (solely for space ossues). The DT speaker would "pound nails". The KEF does not. Took a while to get used to the sound. For movies I don't notice as much but for concert blue rays I miss the DT.
Pros: Looks and mounting
Cons: Sound quality reflects its thin footprint
