Q
Would this work on my 2005 g35 coupe??

Greetings Scuba, and thank you for your question. It will not. They have a NIS2 that would if your G35 came with the Bose system. If not, you need a different harness entirely. Part number for the NIS2 is 541NIS2.

Q
Does this work with the 95 Nissan Pathfinder 8 speaker Clarion amps?

My '93 INFINITI J30 is probably close to a '95 Nissan ( OR INFINITI ) . Now mine had Clarion as 'head-unit' only supplying a variable voltage out to the Bose amps @ ea. speaker location ( some cars had a 'all-in-one' amp ) . The Clarion essentially did " variable line out " . What this adapter does is to ' simulate ' a variable line out by converting " Todays" car audio's high level output, which would normally be capable to power direct speaker connection , and by utilizing resistors it brings out the aforesaid 'line-out' voltage . Adapter essentially 'Loads' the stereo's output with 80 ohm resistors, giving them some load so your not blowing the MOSfets. Also the adapter has additional wires , if you wish to connect to "low-level" ( RCA line-out jacks in back of Stereos) and give the proper 'line out' voltage to run the ( Bose) amps ahead of the speakers. Best part is the four channels this adapter handles ( you may use one or all four) the levels are fully adjustable to the amps via 4 holes , where you use a jeweler's screw driver to set your baseline balance for all four locations to suit the car's acoustics . Lastly it all come down to any conversion harnesses , which were specified for me , from car's harness to the adapter's plug , and then the adapter out to the standard radio/head-uni wiring which you 'make up' per simple instruction chart , very well written. Crutchfield customer svc. and or satisfaction policy is excellent , and I would recommend purchasing. G.T. 7/12/2020

Michael, I used it on my 1991 Nissan with six speakers and it worked very well. Know what each wire is for, label before you cut and you should be fine
