This was great, easy to install, and works well. The Crutchfield install instructions and kit made installing the head unit a breeze. The great thing about this particular head unit, unlike the last Alpine 103BT unit I purchased, is that it comes with the Alpine Ipod cable as well as all the BT mic.

First I will say that Crutchfield has the best prices and best customer service. This is my 2nd Alpine purchase/install from them and I am totally satisfied. The Alpine 126BT is a great unit and offers alot of bang for the buck. I am not a hard core mega audio fanatic, I was more interested in upgrading to a unit that offered blue tooth/hands free for the phone and simple i-pod connectivity. The phone integration is simple and works superb. I had some trepidation about using an external microphone and not having as much clarity while talking but it is crystal clear all time. The i-pod is plug and play and with the full speed connection performs flawlessly. I have to give more praise to Crutchfield as they include the mounting kits, wiring harnesses and other little doo-dads for free and they make installation a breeze. I will also say that you may want to think twice about upgrading your speakers..in both of my vehicles the sound quality with the crummy stock speakers has increased by a considerable amount..enough of an increase that I think they are just fine for me. I also like the style and look of the Alpine units with large buttons, intelligent layout and clean lighting. I do not think there is a better unit out there in this price range.

I Purchased this Alpine as a replacement for the Bose double din factory unit in my 98 Pathfinder. I was able to utilize the existing factory Bose speakers using the upgraded wiring harness. The factory speakers are individually amplified,and I hoped not to have to replace them as well at this time. The end result is amazing to say the least. This unit is by far the biggest improvement to the over all sound I could have hoped for... This is my first Alpine purchase in over 25 years, and if this unit holds up to a fair test of time, I will be more than pleased. The built in Parrot Bluetooth is far better than any other I have used as well. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking in the under $400.00 range. Well done boys...
