This makes using the much improved KCE-400BT very simple for some 08' models. I am using the iDA-x100 D.M.R. with the KCE-400BT and i needed this product to make the connections match. This will connect the 400BT to the following 08- H.U. Series': CDE-9872, CDE-9874, CDE-9880R/CDE-9882Ri, CDA-988*, iDA-x001, iDA- x100, iDA-x200, iDA-x300, IVA-W202, IVA-W203, IVA-W205, IVA-W502, IVA- W505, IVA-D105, IVA-D106 Keep in mind that if you are using the Full Speed cable and not the USB to hook up the iPod you will need the new Full Speed Cable model #:KCE- 433iV. The older KCE-422i WILL NOT work on with the KCE-400BT
