Paired with a Alpine CDA-105, Polk Momos up front, low end Alpine 6.5" in the rear and an amplified factory sub in a 2004 Honda Pilot. Best Buy installed and I performed the sound configuration. Very easy overall. Takes an hour or so to do it right. Day vs night improvement in sound stage and frequency response. Bass lag gone. Make sure you follow directions re: bass amp cross-over settings.

Best money I spent for my system. It sounded good before but after running the test it really makes the music stand out. Magic!
Most improved was the god awful Satellite radio sound. Although still not great it improved it to the point of bearable. Sirius really needs to fix this and stream music and an improved bit rate. CD's and properly ripped MP3's sound perfect.
System:
Alpine CDA-105- Sirius Starmate- Alpine Type R Components (front)- Alpine Type R 6x8 (rear)- JBL GTO 4 channel amp- Alpine MRX-50 w/10 inch Type S sub- Alpine Imprint processor and tuning kit

I am not sure if the Imprint was really worth it for my 2005 Tundra with factory JBL audio. I have it connected to INA-W910. The tuning took out nearly all of the bass out of the music. I think it sounds better with the imprint curves off and use one of the EQ settings instead. More tuning maybe required.
In my 2003 Honda Civic with factory speakers and Alpine IDA-X305SBT, the imprint is definitely worth it. Itsounds so much better with the Imprint than the EQ settings.

I added the IMPRINT to my CDA-117 in a Scion xA because there were some serious peaks and valleys in my sound, mostly brought on by the cars' horrible acoustics, not the level of components. Installation is a bit of a pain, and the tuning process is a bit long, however, as they say, Rome wasn't built in a day and I completely expected most of it. Once the tuning process was done, I listened to it for about 10 minutes and went to bed. The following day on my way to work, I really put it through its paces, and I'm very impressed. My soundstage went from being A-pillar to A-pillar to being past my left rear view mirror and wrapping all the way around to past the passenger A-pillar. It also got rid of the major peaks and valleys in my system, which was a major plus. The subs also roll off in to the mids much better which is very nice.
There are some very small issues that would have made it a 5 out of 5, the lack of instructions for one. Did you know that there are dip switches on the bottom of your Alpine to tell it you've got an Ai-NET EQ? Neither did I - which meant no sound after the tuning was done. One call to Crutchfield tech support and it was fixed (good job guys!), but it wasn't in any of the instructions. Also, I found the installation a little tedious, but that's probably just me.
All-in-all, it's well worth the money and I would definitely buy it again without question.
